Beginning of the year

MADISON'S POV

Its the beginning of a new school year and me and my best friend Thomas are going to our new highschool together. While we were in the car I was hoping that we would be in the same dorm so I could see his beautiful face, his amazing hair, his fantastic body...I-I mean it would be nice to be with him.

"James, you ok buddy?" Oh I guess I was just in my thoughts again.

"Nothing. I was just thinking of something. Thanks for the ride again."

" No problem , James. Thats what friends are for." Friends...How I wish we were more than that.

We finally got to the school and went straight to the dorms. Unfortunatly we weren't in the same dorm but we were really close. He was number 115 and I was 116 so we could visit eachother whenever we wanted.

" So see you in ten minutes in the hall?" Thomas asked me.

" Of course!"

We went to our dorms and when I entered I saw that my roomate was already there and that he had unpacked his stuff. He had curly brown hair, green eyes and some freackles. His room had a lot of turle plushies and drawing that I guess he drew them.

" Oh hello. You must be my roomate. I'm John Laurens." 

"H-Hello. I'm James Madison." I'm not the best with friendships. I'm really shy and I'm afraid of what people think of me.

" What's wrong? Are you nervous?" He asked. He seems nice. I guess I could trust him.

"A bit."

"Don't worry about it! If you need any help you can count on me and my friends. They are really nice too!"

"Thank you, John"

"No problem! Always happy to help and make new friends." Yup he is a nice guy.

" So where's my room?"

"Oh it's over there! I gave you the best room. I don't really care about it if it has space for my turtle plushies and my drawings."

"Thanks. That's really nice."

I went to my room and started to unpack my stuff. It was a really nice room and way bigger than John's.

" Hey do you need any help?" I heard his voice again in the back.

"No I'm fine. Thanks anyways."

"Woah...why did you bring so many tissue boxes?" Oh no. Here's the question that I didn't want to hear.

"I get sick very easly...I hope you don't mind."

"Of course not! It's completely fine. Well I'm gonna leave you alone."

After some time I finally unpacked everything and got out of the dorm. John was drawing something and I didn't want to bother him so I just let a little note on the kitchen. The moment I turned Thomas was already there waiting for me.

" Finally done with your stuff?"

" Yeah. Sorry I took so long..."

"No no no no it's fine. So who's your roomate?"

" Well his name is John. He's really nice and helped me out a bit, though he's a really REALLY big turtle fan, but I don't mind. What about you?"

"Ughhhh he's a jerk"

Thoma's POV

I went to my room and opened the door. Inside it was a guy that had brown hair, brown eyes and he was shorter than me. He was also wearing glassses. And his room...where do I begin. It was a mess. It looked like he was in here for months and never cleaned the place. Clothes everywhere, coffe cups on the floor. It was just disgusting.

"Ummm hello?" I finally said, breaking the silence.

"What do you want? Don't you see that I'm working!" Well that's just rude.

" Well I'm Thomas Jefferson and I'm your new roomate...and you are?"

"Alexander Hamilton. Now fuck off" Wait a minute... I've heard about him. He is one of the guys that Laf talked about. I thought he said he was nice and amazing, not rude and an idiot but whatever. I don't care about this guy. I have more stuff to do so I just went to my room, unpacked my stuff so i could go meet with my best friend.

PRESENT

"Well that was just rude." James said.

"I know right! I was just being nice and introducing myself!"

"Maybe he was like that cause he was busy. He can be a good guy." And here is James trying to see the good in other people. But when it comes to him it looks like he can't see any good in him.

"I hope you're right. Maybe we should go back to sleep. Tomorrow we have the first day of class"

He also agreed so both of us went to bed so we could try to sleep. This will be a very different year. I feel it.
