Wanna hangout?

SHANNON POV:

I wake up the next morning at around 11, my mom won't be home today because she has a shift at the hospital 

I grab my phone off the nightstand and check my messages to see if Cammie texted me- nothing. She really is playing hard to get and I'm just like a love sick puppy following her around, so I just send her a good morning text. 

Me: Good morning gorgeous 

I put my phone away and I get up, use the bathroom, brush my teeth and take a shower. I straighten my hair and throw on some grey sweatpants and a black hoodie, I check my phone and see that Cammie texted me back 

Cammie😍💘: Ugh finally you texted me, I've been waiting for that good morning text since 9

Me: Sorry, I just woke up. You could've texted me too you know

Cammie😍💘: But that's your job 

Me: Oh it is?

Cammie😍💘: Without a doubt

Me: You wanna hangout?

Cammie😍💘: Come and pick me up

Me: On my way gorgeous

I throw on my vans and grab my keys on the way out, I drive to her house and park where I did last night. I send her a text to let her know I'm outside and seconds later she's coming down the porch steps "Hey gorgeous" I smile once she enters my car "Hi" She grins "Can we hangout at your house?" She asks and I nod "Whatever you wanna do" 

"I just wanna have a relaxing day, like watch movies, order pizza and cuddle" She clicks her seatbelt on 

"That sounds fucking perfect to me" I agree and she laughs "Thanks"

"Welcome to casa Beveridge" I joke as I open the front door "My mom won't be here until tomorrow, she's working the late shift at the hospital"

"What about your dad?"

"Oh um my parents are divorced" I explain

"I'm so sorry, I didn't know-" She rambles on "Hey," I cut her off softly "It's fine Cam, don't worry" I chuckle "So what movie do you wanna watch?" 

"A rom com for sure" She ponders off

"Please don't say 'The Kissing Booth' I don't like that movie at all" I groan

She giggles "I was thinking more along the lines of 'Bride Wars' " 

I let out a sigh of relief "Thank god, Kate Hudson is hot in that movie" 

She scoffs "Of course that's why you like the movie"

I shrug "What can I say? I like hot blondes" I wink at her and she blushes and looks away "Just play the movie Beveridge" 

I laugh "Right away" I grab my laptop and screen it to the TV as I load up the movie on Netflix "Do you have a blanket?" I look at her funny "What? I like to cuddle with a blanket when I'm watching movies" She explains "In my room upstairs, down the hall the last door on the right" I smile as she jogs up the steps and my eyes linger on her ass "Stop staring at my ass Beveridge" She hollers from the top of the stairs "You have no proof" I retort and she laughs "Whatever" 

She comes back downstairs a minute later with my red and white flannel blanket in her hand "Pizza?" I ask her and she nods eagerly "What kind?" 

"I'm just a plain cheese pizza type of girl" She jokes and I grin because she looks really cute in her black leggings and red hoodie "Right away gorgeous" I pull out my phone and place the order "It's gonna take about 15 minutes" 

"Alright movie time!" She claps excitedly and plops down on the couch and wraps herself in my blanket "This blanket smells like you"

"Well it is my blanket" I joke and she rolls her eyes "Get in here" She lifts the blanket and motions for me to sit next to her, I sit down next to her and she puts her head on my shoulder "Oh come on Shannon I literally straddled your lap last night and now you're afraid to cuddle" 

"I don't really cuddle" I say lowly

"Well if we're gonna date you better get used to cuddling me" I smirk, if we date "If?" 

"Just shut up and cuddle me" I shrug and wrap an arm around her shoulder as she wraps an arm around my waist and throws her legs over mine, intertwining us like a pretzel. I cover us both with the blanket as the movie starts

20 minutes into the movie and there's a loud knock at my door "That must be the pizza" I sigh "No don't go, I'm so comfy" She whines "Do you want the pizza or not?" I joke as I slowly get up, untangling her from me "Yeah you better answer that then" I laugh and jog over to the door

"Pizza for a Shannon Beveridge?" The delivery boy smiles as he holds up the pizza "Yup, that's me" I nod and take the pizza from him "Keep the change" I smile politely and him a twenty "Thanks, have a good day" He smiles back appreciably "You too" I close the door and head back into the living room "Mmmm pizza" She rubs her belly "You're really cute when you do stuff like that" I smile "You're really cute when you tell me I'm really cute and I better be the only girl you call cute" She points an accusing finger at me "The one and only" I reply smoothly

We manage to finish a whole pizza in a span of 30 minutes, I don't know how but we did. We're back to our previous cuddling position and my eyes haven't left her once since we finished eating "Why do you keep staring at me?" She looks at me with a weird face

"Cause you're beautiful" I smile and she blushes and looks away, I place a finger under her chin and turn her face so she's looking at me "I really wanna kiss you right now" I confess as I get lost in her gorgeous green eyes "Kiss me" She whispers and my gaze wanders down to her pink lips, I nod and slowly lean in until our lips are centimeters apart, I go in for the kiss and our lips meet in a passionate kiss, my hands roam down to her hips and stop at the hem of her hoodie, softly tugging at it. Her hands snake around the back of my neck as she pulls me on top of her, my tongue slips inside her mouth and her breathy moan fills the room. I use that as an excuse to break our kiss and attach my lips to her neck, softly biting down as I leave red marks all over "Shannon" She moans and oh god probably the hottest way she's ever said my name "Mhmm?" I mumble against her neck, she puts a hand against my chest "We should stop, I'm not ready" She whispers softly and I nod "I'm not gonna force you to do anything Cam, take all the time you need baby" 

"It's just" She sighs and sits up as I get off of her "I've never done anything with anyone other than kiss and I want to do it with you just not right now"

"Cammie, I'll wait for you don't worry" I smile reassuringly and I see relief wash over her face "Thank you" She smiles "That kiss was hot though" I blurt out and she giggles "I know, I was there" She jokes and I laugh "Can we make us official? Like I don't want you kissing anyone besides me" I ask and she grins "Just ask me already Shannon"

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I ask, fidgeting with the ring on my finger "Obviously I will" She giggles and jumps in my lap, hugging me "Awesome" I grin and wrap an arm around her waist

"That means no more hooking up with girls, no more talking to girls, and no more checking out other girls" She says seriously and I laugh "Whatever you want Cammie" 

"Promise?" She holds out her pinky "Promise" I nod as we pinky promise

"You know just because I'm not ready to have sex with you doesn't mean we still can't make out" She smirks and my eyes light up "Oh my god I have the best girlfriend ever!" I exclaim and she giggles
