Today. Today would be the day. I can't believe I'm actually going to do this. Wow.
I got out of bed and grabbed my phone from my nightstand. I opened my messages and clicked on the chat named, "Hottie😍", and started typing.
Me:
Fine.
I didn't even get a chance to set my phone down when I heard it go off. I looked at the new message that popped up. No surprise, it was none other than Noah.
Hottie😍:
Fine? Just fine? I mean I thought I was a hottie.
Oh, if only he could see how red my cheeks were right now.
Me:
No, weirdo. I mean fine. I guess I'll be your date to the party.
I could feel his excitement through the phone.
Hottie😍:
Really? You're serious?? Yay! Ok. I'll pick you up at 8.
God, he's adorable.
Me:
Can't wait<3
And with that, I shut my phone off and threw it on my bed. I decided it'd be good to get ready for the day considering I still have 7 agonizing hours of school to get through before my...date?
At least I get to see Noah at school.

After we pull into the student parking lot, I exit Zach's car and head straight to my locker.
I arrive at my locker and I start gathering my textbooks needed for my morning classes. I finally have what I need and I shut my locker door. As I do so, I jump when I feel someone's hands on my waist.
I'm ready to kick them where it hurts when I realize who it is.
Noah.
I turn around to see a very smiley Noah, staring at my with his bright green eyes.
"Hello, love." His voice was so raspy. It sounded like he just woke up. And to top it off, he had the matching bed hair to go with it. Adorable.
Oh and did I mention? He still hasn't taken his hands off my waist...not that I'm complaining.
"H-hi." No, I'm not stuttering because he thinks it's cute...ok maybe a little, but I also can't help but stutter when I see him.
"So, are you excited for tonight?" His grip on my waist tightened a little.
"Yeah, but I realized I have nothing to wear. Oh well, guess I can't go!" I move out of his strong grip and start to walk away, when I find myself being pulled back and pushed up against a wall.
"Nonsense. I'm sure you have something. If not, I'll buy you something." Why is this boy so kind?
I could feel his breathe on my face as I focused on the situation at hand. I was pushed up against a wall, with both his arms on either side of me, trapping me in.
"Um. Ok, thanks. I'll ask my best friend for help."
We stared into each other's eyes for a while. I could feel his face getting significantly closer to mine. Suddenly, his lips were so close to mine, it was tempting to find out what they taste like.
His lips brushed against mine for a split second and I thought that this was it, this would be the moment that we kissed.
Then, of course, fate had to interrupt us. And by fate, I mean Lexi. My amazing....ly stupid best friend.
