Nothing Lasts Forever

Hana was breathing heavily. "Again" James said. Hana ran at him, and swung her sword. She was seven. After their training, they ate dinner. "Hana, listen. I'm not going to be around forever." Hana stopped eating, and looked up, worried. "what do you mean?" She asked. "I'm saying, when I go, which is going to be very soon, stay strong, Don't give up, you are skilled, you are smart, you are a goddess." James said. "What if I don't know what to do?" She asked. "You won't be alone, there are people here to protect you." James said. Hana was getting scared. "Y-you're not going to leave me, like Mom did, right?" Hana asked. "Hana, your mother had a reason to go, she had to save you." James said. Then he froze. "What is it Dad?" Hana asked. "Run, now." He said. Hana did as told. Right as she left the room, the glass door shattered. Hana stopped. "Dad!" "Go!" James yelled. Hana ran out of the house. Two shadow figures walked up. "Reigh, Don't do this." James said. "She's not talking to me anymore, I'm doing this." Reigh said, "bring me Hana" the other figured nodded, and ran after Hana. "I will erase my whole family just to get rid of you!" Reigh yelled. He started casting a spell. James didn't move. "Lemme go!" Hana yelled. The other shadow figure pushed Hana to the ground. Then the figure forced Hana to watch her father. Reigh finished the spell and shot it at James, who didn't move. Right before the spell hit him, he said, "I love you, Hana" then there was a flash of light. Hana started crying. She pushed the shadow figure, and ran to her father. when she got there, his body was gone. "What did you do?!" Hana cried. "He's gone" reigh said. The shadow figure walked up to Hana, and said. "Don't tell anyone who did this." Hana didn't speak, she only cried. Reigh and the shadow girl left. Hana ran to Mathilda's mansion. When Mathilda opened the door, Hana hugged her, crying.
