I'm so exited. In just one day I'm moving in with my cousin Graser(yes we all call him Graser and not Zach) I'm moving in with him because I've been 'adopted' by him. My parents were killed by a drunk driver six months ago and Graser is pretty much my only family. Ever since my parents died Graser has been trying too adopted me and he finally succeeded. Now I know Graser seems like he wouldn't be a good parent but I'm sixteen so I won't really need him anyways. He's pretty much just giving me somewhere too stay and record. I have a yt channel called ( your yt channel), I have about 200k subs and I play Minecraft. Graser also said when I move to la I can join an smp called 'the deep end' (I know Graser lives in Canada but let's just pretend that he lives in cali). Graser and I were close as kids but when Graser turned 16 two years ago ( Graser is 18 in the story along with most others in the story)we kind of drifted apart so I don't really know any of his friends but I'm hoping that I'll get to meet some of them. Anyways I've packed up most of my things which didn't take me long because there's not much. I need too get a good night sleep so I can be ready for tomorrow.
Skip to tomorrow morning at 9:00
I woke up due to people talking outside my bedroom door. The door opens and in walks Graser and my case worker.
"Hey cuz"
I get out of bed too run and hug Graser.
"I missed you so much" I said 100% sincerely
"I missed you to cuz"
"Ok so are you ready too sign the adoption papers?" Asked my case worker
"Sure am" Graser said exited
We go to my case workers office sit down and sign all the papers. We the get up and grab all me stuff and put it the car.
"I'm so glad your moving in and I can't wait for you too meet all my friends"
"I'm so glad that you're letting me move in. That group home was hell."
"I'm sorry I couldn't do it sooner. So tonight your not going too be staying with me"
"What?" I ask concerned
"My apartment flooded and I had too get a hotel and there's only one bed. You'll be staying at my friend Shelby's apartment"
I was silent
"Look I know this isn't what you were expecting for your first night but trust me it'll be fine Shelby's such a nice girl and my apartment will be fixed in no time"
"Fine but promise me that you'll visit everyday until your apartment gets fixed"
"I pinky promises" Graser said as he held out his pinky. I look at him and latch on too his pinky with mine
"Good"
"Also my friend Liam is staying there so you'll get too meet him too but just so your aware he can be kinda.... let's say...a hard ass around new comers so don't get butt hurt like you used too do when I would pretend too be mad at you" Graser said laughing
"Your laugh hasn't changed" I say quitely
"I know isn't it great" he said laughing even more
"We're almost here so I'm gonna call Shelby and tell her "
*ring ring*"hello?"
" hey Shelby I'm almost there with yn so see you soon?"
"Sounds great. See you soon"
The rest of the car ride was a comforting silence We eventually arrive At Shelby's apartment.
"We're here!" Graser said enthusiastically
"Yay" I return with the same energy. I didn't want too stay here but I also didn't want Graser to feel bad so I have to put a brave face on. We walk up the stairs to the third floor of the apartment and knock on room 13c.
"Hello! Come on in" said a young woman with a high pitched voice.
"Hey Shelby"
We walk in too the apartment and it's much bigger than I expected. It was mainly grey with yellow accents.
"And you must be Yn" She said pulling me in for a hug" I'm so sorry you've had too go through that. But now that you here it will all be better" she let go of me "here have a seat" she said pointing to the couch
"Thanks" I say as I sit on the couch.
Graser pov
"Where's h?" I ask
"I think he's in the shower" Shelby leans in too whisper "I told him that you were coming with your cousin and he got a little upset. He really needs too get better with excepting new people"
"Really? He got upset?"
"Yeah I know it's shocking because with us he's nice but with new people he's always so...aggressive. Remember when he met sigils for the first time? He was just so...cold" ( okay I think you guys know what I mean like he just doesn't like new people and he's kinda aggressive towards them)
"I know it was so weird seeing him like that" I say as I thought back too it
"What are you guys whispering about?" H asked as he walked out of the hallway with no shirt on
"Oh nothing" Shelby squeaked
Yn pov
I was sitting on the couch while Graser and Shelby were whispering and the out of the corner of my eye I see a tall man not wearing a shirt. It takes every thing in me not too stare.
"Hey h this is my cousin Yn. The one that I adopted."
He looked at me and we made eye contact for a few seconds. His eyes were crystal blue, they were gorgeous. After a solid ten seconds he looked away and walked towards the kitchen
"Cool" he said in a cold tone not looking at me Graser nor Shelby
H pov
I walk out and see Shelby and Graser whispering by the door
"What are you guys whispering about?" I ask
"Nothing!" Shelby squeaked
"Hey h this is my cousin yn the one that I adopted"
I looked at her and made eye contact her eyes were a nice shade of y/e/c I wanted too look away but I couldn't. I eventually gained the strength too look away
"cool" I said not wanting too look at anyone because of what just happened.
You're pov (ik lots of switches)
"Ok Yn let me show you too you're room" Shelby says as I follow her down the hall"here's your room here's h'room and your guys bathroom oh and my bedroom it on the other side of the apartment so if you need anything that's where I'll be"
"Ok thank you"
"No problem"
