In A Moment. (Gfriend One Shot)

In a moment

We had P.E right now but since we played our game yesterday we were allowed to just sit and observe the other groups play.

I was sitting on the benches that they kept at the corner near a girl whose name was Eunha, she was well known and liked due to her bubbly self.
"Do you want gum?" She asked me handling it out for me to take it to which I declined going back to watching the game again.
I felt a tap on my shoulder again "What about energy sweets?" She asked me yet again.
"Uhh no thanks, I'm good" I smiled and politely declined.
I again felt a tap, what does she want now, I was internally facepalming myself.
"Here, take this lollipop" She handed me the lollipop in my hand, before I could say no she stood up and went away since the class was over.
She's so strange, I thought to myself keeping the lollipop in my pocket.

Class had ended and I soon made my way back home, crashing into my bed just to feel a pain on my thighs, I checked my pocket to find the lollipop that weird girl offered me, she was cute, was shorter than me and had chubby cheeks yet looked pretty, I smiled thinking about her weirdness and drifted off to sleep.

I was sitting in my usual seat listening to music when I felt a tap, I took out my earphones and saw the girl from yesterday.
"Can I sit here?" I was confused since she always sat with her friends but whatever.
"It's a free world, sit anywhere you want" she smiled and thanked me.
"Here" she handed me a lollipop again.
"Do you perhaps run a sweets shop?" I raised my eyebrows asking her with a teasing tone.
She laughed at my question, "Ahh no, I actually bought them for my small brother, I usually drop him off to school so I keep them in my bag"
"I see, just don't go around giving them to kids who are alone, you might be mistaken for a kidnapper" I told her.
"Excuse me, I'm too pretty to be a kidnapper" she huffed.
"Conceited much?" I smirked but I did agree with her, she looks too sweet to be one.
Before she could say anything the lecturer came.

I was walking to my usual spot when Eunha called my name.
"Hey Sowon, can I come with you too?" She asked me huffing from running after me.
"Sure" I shrugged walking again.
We reached the lake that I usually go to since it's more quiet there, we sat on the grass just looking at the ducks play in the water.
"So this is where you always go to" Eunha broke the silence looking at me with those brown eyes, a smile etched on her face.
"Yes, it's peaceful here, I don't like being around people much" I told her honestly.
"And why is that?" I didn't know the answer to that question either, I don't mind people's company but I guess I have a thing for quiet places.
"Just, no sad story behind it, like in movies and dramas" I clarified making her laugh.
It was nice to be with her, she made me feel comfortable, a sense of serenity that I never felt before.
I felt her hand on mine, her's were warm while mine were the opposite, she warmed my hand along with my heart.
Both of us didn't say anything, we didn't have to, sometimes you just understand how the other feels without having to voice it out.

It's true that we only knew each other recently but there are times when time has no say in how someone feels.
I liked her and I don't know what will happen next but the comforting silence now was enough to keep all those thoughts away.
