? POV
Almost a half-moon had passed since I returned to my den after nearly drowning. I had stolen catmint and tansy from ThunderClan's abandoned Twoleg nest, where Jayfeather got his herbs from. The blind fool would never be able to tell any of them were missing. After all, he couldn't even see! They made him a medicine cat because he was so useless that they had nothing better to do with him. Jayfeather was worthless if you asked me, but I didn't want to waste the time, thought, or energy it would take to take him out. And to think that they gave him fresh-kill. What a waste of perfectly good prey. Then again, I didn't mind if their prey was wasted. I didn't mind at all.

I wondered if Molewhisker had reported his encounter with me. At least they didn't recognize my scent and they hadn't seen me. When they discovered my identity, I wanted it to be a surprise.

Blossomfall POV

My stomach growled as I walked over to the fresh-kill pile and selected a plump squirrel. I was halfway through eating it when Foxleap padded over.
Foxleap chuckled. "Didn't you just eat?"

I felt slightly guilty. I had eaten when I got up about halfway between sunrise and sunhigh, and just a little before sunhigh now, I was already eating again. But I had been so hungry.

Foxleap sighed. "No wonder you're getting so plump. I swear, you've been eating more than Graystripe!"

"Hey!" Graystripe protested indignantly, from where he was basking in the sun nearby.

I forced a purr. "Not possible. Graystripe eats a whole pile of prey each time."

"I'm not kidding, Blossomstar. You haven't done anything outside of camp in days!" Foxleap growled. "And then you eat at least five pieces of prey each day! Probably more."

I felt slightly hurt. "I've been tired! All I want to do is sleep!"

Then I thought about it. My belly did feel really heavy and large. Was I eating too much?

"Why don't you walk to the WindClan border or the lakeshore and look at your reflection? I swear by StarClan, you look as fat as a mouse-brained kittypet!" Foxleap stormed off.

I decided to take his advice and I ignored the fact that my eyelids wanted to shut. I rose to my paws, noticing the weight of my belly with each step. I padded out of camp.

I was already breathing heavily by the time I reached the Sky Oak, which was just outside of camp, but I forced myself to keep walking. I didn't want to admit that Foxleap was right, and that I was fat because I was eating too much, but I seemed like this was proving his point.

I sat down tiredly on the ground. After I caught my breath, instead of trying to make it down to the lakeshore, I turned around and padded back into camp.
My stomach growled again and I felt pangs of hunger inside of me. I eyed the fresh-kill pile, wanting so badly to take just one little mouse. After all, a snack wouldn't hurt, right? I settled down in my den, exhausted from my short walk. I tried to sleep, but the hunger gnawing at my stomach kept me awake. I finally gave in to temptation, grabbed a small mouse from the pile, and hurried back to my den. I swallowed each bite with guilt welling up inside of me.

A/N: Oh dang, what's wrong with Blossom? XD
