They were walking on the streets as they were enjoying each others presence while the atmosphere was kinda down because of their sensitive topic

"My dad used to tell me that I should stay strong and don't forget to take care of my mother" he muttered "But.. I didn't really knew that it was actually his last words to me" he tried to smile to at least hide the pain but his eyes would never lie

Ji Eun couldn't help herself but to feel sad at the sudden confession. She was having a hard time whether to hold a grip on his hands and squeeze it to lessen the sadness that he is currently feeling but she can't

"My mother never really tried to talk to me when my father passed away" he muttered and turn his gaze to Ji Eun "I bet she still blames me for my fathers death, If I just took a cab that time maybe he is still alive"

He didn't really know if he is seeing a care and sadness in Ji Eun's eyes or it is just him hallucinating but nevertheless he tried to look so calm

"And I can see myself now slowly distancing myself from her" he chuckled "because I know that it is the least that I can do to not be a burden to her" he muttered

Ji Eun stopped on her track as she turn her body to Jungkook facing him "Don't you dare say that" she said while she gave Jungkook a tap on his shoulder "You never knew what's the reason behind her coldness towards you and don't you dare blame yourself and tell me that it was your fault" she said and shook her head "Everything's happened for a reason, I know that your father is in good place now so don't say that" she added as he gave Jungkook a reassuring smile "Do you think he would like it if he sees you like this?"

He just smiled and looked down but Ji Eun hugged him all of a sudden startling him

For the second time, Ji Eun hugged him again. He just wish that Ji Eun won't feel his heart beat beating rapidly

He feels so safe and happy because of the sudden move, "Is this really the feeling when someone is comforting you?" He thought as he hugged her back

She let go and smiled as she started walking "My house is near already, you can go now thank you for walking me here" she smiled sweetly to Jungkook

"She's so... b-beautiful" he thought
He nodded as a respond on Ji Eun's statement "There you go again you're not going to talk to me again ha?" She said as she playfully smack Jungkook's arm

Jungkook never felt someone being easy on him and acting all friendly to him. He was beyond shock and happy beause Ji Eun's is now comfortable to him so they can act as a friend

But he wasn't really sure if he can be friends with Ji Eun since he really likes her
"Yeah right, go now and take care" Ji Eun said and motioned him to go on the other way already as he nodded and started walking slowly

He doesn't want to leave unless he'll see Ji Eun safe already but he had no choice but to turn his back on her "I'm so happy since you opened up to me and talked a lot!" Ji Eun shouted as he turn his gaze to her again as he rubbed his nape and nodded again as he started to walk and turn on the other way

Ji Eun sighed as she saw Jungkook was nowhere in sight anymore as she started to took her cap and mask from her backpack and dialed someone in her phone "Hello?... Yes this is Beauty B... I bought it already... 5 packs right? Wait are you sure that no ones in there? Did you check the police around?... Okay just making sure... I'll be there in 20 minutes" she ended the call

She started to walk to the other way which clearly can say that she's not going home yet

That way will lead to the town and no one lives in there.

Little did she know, Jungkook saw and heard everything. He was there all the time but he just hid behind the wall.

He didn't know what she is talking about but he was surely sure that it was something like illegal since she is asking about the police

He didn't really wanna leave unless he can see Ji Eun getting in their house already but she didn't. And he didn't mean to witness that all but he won't judge Ji Eun since he didn't know the whole story

It made him disappointed as he didn't tend to follow Ji Eun anymore because even though he likes her that doesn't mean that her business is his business already.

"Maybe I should just go home now" he thought and started leaving the place
