Chapter 16:

As the loud clack of the horse' feets can be heard the speed also increases..

But inside the carriage is moving smoothly.. 2 siloette is seen inside..

"Tomorrow will be the weekend end right?" Raven asked as she kept on starring at yhe window of the carriage..

"Yes, but for me this felt like only 1 week of school"The prince said as he too starred at the window

"Well it you just arrived last week so..." Raven put on a joke as she smiled just a little bit, a slightl change in her expression made Charles happy inside

'This is good.. I can manipulate you now' as he was deep in thought he unconsciously smiled..

Raven saw this and also made her happy 'what an easy prince to play with.. easy to manipulate'

Both of them is thinking the same thing.. Goddess chuckled but Raven didn't know why..

As both of them finally arrived to their destination...

Charles opened the door then stepped out..

Many of the noble girls starred in awe as they all squealed inside..

'Kyaa' They all thought.. as one of them whispered..

"Greet him for us Lady Ashley" all of them whispered in full hopes..

"I'm not so sure.." Her face is flushed red from embarrassment...

"We know you like him, get your chance!"one of them encouraged her..

As she finally got the courage her fantasies was shattered into pieces as she saw Raven..

She saw Raven stepping out of the carriage as Charles is supporting her to get down..

All of them is stunned..

'What..' Ashley thought to herself as she was starring at the scene she is watching unfold before her..

'I heard rumours about them being close but I didn't think it was this close'

'wow.. this is so bizarre!'

'do they like each other?'

'but.. Ms. Redwood already have a fiancee right?'

'Her fiancee is First Prince' younger brother! Second Prince Geraldine'

'but I heard that Prince Geraldine already like someone even though he also got a fiancee'

'what a slap in the face though! The way he left her but she was catch by his brother'

'But don't you think Prince Geraldine deserves it? He was the first one to cheat'

'I think they do suite each other.  Two ice logs. Perfect match'

All of the whisperers started gossiping to the full extent of their hearts..

As Charles started hearing the gossips he smiled inside..

'That is right... keep rising.. what a perfect move to rekt your image as Zerah's fiancee.. little brother' he smiled inside.. if he can laugh out loud he would but he won't because he wants to remain calm and stoic as well as cold and indifferent...

As Raven saw his expression.. she was confused but when she heared the gossips she knew what is going on..

'so this is your plan.. you want to pick me up to slap Geraldine? Good.. good.. be jealous' She thought as both of them started walking..

As both of them finally reached their destination.. their movement synchronised as both of them sit down at the same time..

After some time...

One of their teacher reached the classroom... all of the students inside was already on their respected seats..

"Good morning, everyone.. before I start teaching I would like to announce that we will have a group work for you.. a music duo.. and it will not only be you guys but other classes too.
After you all perform your melody duo I will pick the winner.. and if you are pick then you will compete with other classes winner... the grand winner will be playing on the cynalic ritual for next week awakening to offer up the melody for our god and goddess " as she explained everything all of them are excited and shows happy expression on their faces except the two ice log of the school..

"Hmm.. music duo huh?" Charles touched his chin as Raven remained quiet then whispered..

"Interesting"

As class session finally reached its end all of the students started walking out of the classroom...

"Should we go?" Charles asked as he started packing his books and notes..

"Ah! I forgot. I made this for you" as Raben said and hurriedly reach for her bag and showed him two lunch packs..

"This one is for you" she put down one of the lunch pack which is rapped like a modern 'bento'

"For me?.." He was stunned as he asked her..

"Ahh.. well. I noticed that we are always sharing my lunch.. so.. I thought of just giving you one" as she explained she then turned around to face the door..

As Charles felt warmth inside his heart he then smiled really sweetly..

He was clueless what this feeling is but it felt good..

'That should do it.. fall for me.. Prince Charles,  I need you for revenge' She thought as she was grinning evilly..

Luckily Charles didn't see because she turned around as he followed her..

"By the way where are we going, Zerah?" He asked as they left the neetnac after buying Raven chocolate milk..

"Of course we got to prepare for the performance" she explained directly as she was walking and drinking her chocolate milk of goodness

"you sure are hasty" he said as he continue to follow her..

"Music.. where do you find music instruments?" She asked..

"Hmm.. music room" as he guessed right Raven then made a very satisfied sound

"Correct mister"

"Do you know where it is?" He asked

"Of course I do, actually were here already" she stopped from her tracks as she then pointed at the closed black door..

*creaakk*

The sound of the door creaking only proved that noone has been going inside here for a long time..

Probably because the teachers could just get the stuff then leave..

As both of them finally went inside they saw many music instuments..

Many majestic and luxurious looking instuments caught their eyes..

Especially the crystal piano..

As Raven saw this she was frozen from her tracks..

She was in awe as she can't take her eyes off the beautiful piano..

"I know what we are goig to play" She whispered but is loud enough for charles to hear her words..

"What do you mean?" He asked curiously as he also starred at the young lady..
