She looked at the waterfall in front of her, gleaming brightly from water. She walked around the Pool of water and Into the cave, careful not to break anything.
"So this satchel is yours?" A female voice asked from the back of the cave.
"Yeah, so give it here! I don't have time, hand it over..." Mazie demanded, holding out her pale and elegant hand.
"I will... once you tell me you're in a rush to get this," The person said while stepping out slowly. Mazie gasped. It was a Neko. She hadn't met one since childhood. She marveled at the neko's ears and tail. They flicked their tail, annoyed.
"Right, I don't even know... my mother and father sent me here to get it. So, can I have it now? I'll get out of your way!" She laughed nervously.
"Whatever, you can take it... but I wanna come with you... wherever you're going!"
"I never said anything about adven-"
"I already looked through it, by the way, I'm Paisley!" Paisley smiled, holding out her pale hand.
"Mazie... and You're not coming with me... I have Scar," She declined.
"Right, a mutt... but I'm smarter and more human-like than a dog!" Paisley giggles, "I'm even good with a throwing knife!"
"Still, it's my private adventure! My family sent me... and me only! I bet you'll have way more fun here then with me and my so called mutt."
Paisley sighed, "Really... Mazie Right?" She nodded. "Right, well then. I guess you don't need an extra hand. I mean you've probably never been outside the village on your own... Am I wrong?"
"I mean... not far-"
"See what I mean? You're helpless out in that world without an extra set of hands!" She smirked.
"I can do it on my own! I don't need a greedy cats assistance!" Mazie snapped.
"Have you ever fought an Eastern Yellow tailed Werewolf?"
"A what...? Never mind!" Mazie growled, reaching for the satchel. She took it and started walking outside. "Final- GAH!" She screeched as Paisley landed on her, a long knife held to her throat. "WHAT THE HELL?!"
"Oh, I guess I'll force myself in the party! I need adventure and excitement!"
"Right, and you're doing that by holding a knife the the hosts throat."
Paisley nodded before hearing Mazie's wolf, Scar, run at her. She swiftly leaped to the side before he bit. Paisley quickly twirled around, sending her foot into Scar's side. He hit the wall with a loud CRACK. He slid down the rock whimpering.
"SCAR! You'll pay!" She growled, trying to get up. But it was as if her muscles weren't even there. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ME?!"
"Well, you were being a pain so I had to resort to pressure points." She laughed.
"And why did you use PINS?!" Mazie snapped, only being able to move her jaw.
"It would last longer than just attacking your pressure points." She grinned.
"Idiot, I'll get out! Just you wait... you greedy, selfish cat!" She yelled, biting at the first pin.
"I wouldn't do that! If you don't take THOSE pins out correctly it'll hurt and you'll bleed all over."
"They're just- OW! WHAT DID YOU DO TO THESE PINS?!" Cried Mazie, bleeding out of her back.
"Well, I can't tell you... or you'll figure out how to get them out properly."
"Can you at least take them out... AND HELP SCAR?! YOU NEARLY FLATTENED HIM TO THE WALL!" Paisley smiled and nodded, her ginger colored hair pulled into a lower ponytail. Bangs covering the top half of her face. Mazie muttered to herself as Paisley bent down.
"I'll let you out, if I can come!" She offered.
"FINE! But you better be a help or I'm kicking you out..."
