The Heartbroken Miracle (Kakashi X Sakura)

Kakashi:

Today's that day, huh? That day where this useless thing always gets broken even more than it already is. I mean it's already chipping away. This thing that used to be a beating, loving heart. Now it's useless. Beat up, scarred, broken, and even chips fall off every year when this day comes.

Ugh. I hate Valentines Day. It's the day where everyone loves each other and gives their hearts to each other. While my old heart is stuck with me. No one would ever take it. Ugh. I hate this so much.

(Kakashi looks at his heart that is in is hands and sees his past all over again). No. I can't do this anymore. I will never be able to love again....I will never be able to use this thing again....it's useless. I mean after all of this. Father....Obito....Minato-Sensei...........Rin........I've failed you all......I will never be able to use this again......

(Kakashi was in a sort of trance, thinking about this stuff. But then he heard his name being called. He snapped out of it and hid the heart behind his back).

"Kakashi-Sensei! Hey Kakashi-Sensei!" a familiar cherry blossoms' voice called out. I quickly hid my heart behind my back before she could notice it.

"Hello Sakura-Chan! How are you, today?" I smiled under my mask. "I'm good! However....what was that, that you hid behind you back? I saw you holding something and then as I called out to you, you hid it from me. What was it?" she asked as she tried to look behind my back. I turned so she wouldn't see it. "It's nothing!" I said.

"Well if it's nothing, then you can show me, right? So let me see!" she said while still trying to look behind my back. I wouldn't allow her to. "N-no! Please! It's nothing, okay?! Please don't look!!" I retorted. She wouldn't stop saying that if it's nothing, she should be able to look at it. She just wouldn't give up. I finally gave in. "Are you even listening to me?! If you say it's nothing, then---" I interrupted her. "FINE! YOU CAN LOOK AT IT!! But....it's useless.....there's no point to worry about it...." I say as I show her my broken, scarred, and chopped away heart.

Sakura:

"Hm? Y-you're heart? Why do you say it's useless?! A heart is never useless!!" I say. "You're wrong. No one would ever love this heart....it's so broken and beat up....it's totally worn out....." he sighs.

"Well that's where you're wrong! No matter how beat up and broken it is, there will always be someone to love it! No matter what!" I say as I smile for him. He doesn't buy it, looks down in sadness, and sighs. I don't understand why he's not seeing it!

"Well....obviously you're not going to trust me on that....so I will fix it for you! I can mend and heal broken hearts! However, it's been a secret to anyone so don't tell a single soul. Got it?" He then looks up as I said it all and smiles with a nod at the end. "Oh and you've got to close your eyes as I do this! It won't work if your eyes are open! So you gotta close them!" I say as well. He looked at me confused but went along with it anyways. He handed me his heart and then pulled down his headband to cover both eyes.

Kakashi:

I heard Sakura humming as my eyes were blindfolded by my headband. After a few minutes, she finally spoke.

"You may open your eyes now, Kakashi-Sensei! I know there's a few Knicks here and there, but this is the best I could do! I'm sorry I couldn't heal it all the way...but this'll do, right?" she says as she holds it out to me. I grin widely at it and looks at it with glee.

"Yes! Yes! This'll do just fine! It looks almost brand new! Thank you, Sakura-Chan! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I must try it out now! To see if anyone will love it!!" I then kissed her on the forehead and ran away happily.

Sakura:

I got a light kiss on the forehead before he left all happily. I'm glad he's happy, now. I hope he uses it wisely. (Sakura thinks his to herself as she holds Kaakshis' broken and chipped away heart behind her back with one hand).
