Oh no no no no this cant be happening, i cant be. she kept trying to tell herself. Maybe its just gone irregular and ill get it in a couple of days.

She lay in bed thinking to herself. There was only one thing for it she would have to take a test and find out for herself. She didnt want to do it alone though. She knew zelena would freak if she asked her so she decided on belle because belle had some experience with pregnancy. She decided that she would ask her when they went out for lunch together.
Regina got out of bed showered and changed into a navy blue dress, denim jacket and short non heeled boots and then she tied her hair in a ponytail (or at least she did her best).

She got to granny's and took a seat in the booth near the back. She placed her head in her hands and sighed. oh my gosh how can this be happening to me she thought, clearly in obvious distress. She heard the bell jingle and she looked up expecting it to be belle but it wasnt. It was little john and the merry men and oh no no no no they were making their way over to her with solemn looks on their faces.
"Hi regina i know you probably dont want to talk about it but we all just really want to say that we're really truly sorry for what he did. We cant even describe how much of a jerk he was and if you ever want to talk to any of us about anything we're always here". They all nodded their heads and gave her sympathetic looks. "I'll be alright thank you for your concern though and maybe one day ill follow you up on that offer" "i hope to see you again soon". As they walked away from her table the bell jingled again causing her to look up. Belle had just walked in. She walked over and sat at the table."how are you holding up",asked belle with a concerned look on her face. After she asked that question everything came flooding because for the first time she was with someone she knew she could trust. "Not too well i just cant stop thinking about him i miss his smile, i miss his kisses i miss all of him. But then i hate him for for what he did". "I swear im an emotional wreck and to top it all off ive missed my period, i keep throwing up, my hormones are going crazy and im really really scared that im pregnant". As she let it all out she felt a release within herself that she never thought she'd feel anyyime soon. "Ok well we,re going to have to take this calmly and sensibly. So after lunch we are going to the chemist and getting a pregnancy test and then we will go to your house and you can take it and we will go from there". "And just know that no matter what we will be there every step of the way", said belle.

When ruby came around to ask for their order they ordered their lunch which by the way was a lot of food because belle was pregnant. After they ate their lunch they went to to the chemist. As there was only one chemist in storybrooke everyone would know if she bought a pregnancy test. So belle went in and bought it because if they asked she could say that its for an idea for her baby shower.
When they got to reginas house belle sat down on the couch while regina un packaged the test and went up to her bathroom.

Time skip.......

Regina looked down at the pregnancy test not being able to believe her eyes. She regina mills was pregnant she was having a  baby. A  baby that will grow up without a father. A baby that will only know its mothers grief and loss. But than she thought about it again. It will be a baby with her hair and robins eyes or robins hair and her eyes. She started to freak out, how could she have a baby, how could she be a single mom.

She walked out of the bathroom still holding the pregnancy test, hands shaking and walked downstars to where belle was sitting on the couch. She sat down slowly still looking at the pregnancy test than she slowly looked up to meet belles eyes.

"I'm pregnant"

And then regina promptly pulled her knees to her chest and sobbed hef heart out. Belle just pulled her in for a hug. Regina let her tears flow and stream down her face with realisation of what she now had growing inside her.

She was scared but that day sometging woke up inside of her and she knew that she had to be strong and she had to brave for this child. She decided not to tell tobin because it would only cause her heartache and pain and she never ever wanted her child to be hurt like she had been. She had to be brave and she had to be a lionheart just like her once soulmates tattoo.
