Just Runaways (Hybrid) (Larry Stylinson/Zaniam)

"Harry what do we do now?" The boy was short, but had distinct blue eyes and pale skin. Under his hoodie, you would be able to see a pair of amber cat ears. He gave off a childish vibe, as he was the baby of the pack, along with a couple others, before they were captured. The other boy was around the same age, but lacked the childish vibes Niall gave off. He was more mature, and lanky despite his age only being 16. He had the curliest dark brown hair, a little long, reaching almost to his chin. His eyes were  shade of emerald green, going perfectly well with his ears that were slightly harrier than Niall's, and they matched his hair color to the t.

"I don't know yet Ni but we have to figure that out soon or else we'll be caught."

"I'm hungry"

"Of course you are Ni, we'll go find some food later but we have to find somewhere to stay for the night."

"What about one of the alleys?"

"That's perfect, come on let's find one where no one will see us."

Bang

"What was that haz?"

"I don't know Ni, but we better hurry and find an alley before we do."

The two boys both ran to find an alley to stay for the night, avoiding the people on the streets who could've easily figured out the young boys were hybrids. Niall kept looking at each alley till he heard Harry started talking in small whispers. Perks of having enhanced senses.

"I found one Niall it should be good for tonight then we can leave for the next town tomorrow morning." Harry looks around the small space, glancing at a dumpster that could possibly have food, but he didn't think that would be an option as of right now.

"Ok so what about food then?" They hadn't ate a full meal in almost two days. Just scraps they stole from near restaurants.

Harry nods him over, telling him to follow on their search to find food.

They had scored an entire pizza, courtesy of a drunk teen group who left it on a park bench. Niall and Harry made their way back to the alley, hoping for at least a few hours of sleep so they'd be up for the travel to a safer place. Sure hybrids were treated better nowadays, but there were still a select few who would kidnap them to make quick cash.

Bang

"Niall... I think we have company"

Just outside the opening of the alley, a few men jumped out of a white van and looked around. "Are you sure the call was right? Someone saw two hybrids here?" The buff man seemed a little suspicious about the location of the sighting. This town hadn't had hybrids in years.

"Yeah. They seemed pretty sure that there were two of them. The rare ones." In today's society there were two distinct types of hybrids. The ones who could speak, and those that couldn't.

Niall and Harry got ready to bolt, but one had tripped over a trash can, resulting in a big crash that the men could hear. They had a stare down that didn't last long, as the pack of guys ran towards the two hybrids. They weren't made to fight, so they tried their best to fight off the attackers, but they weren't prepared to get stuck by needles.

"Harr—" Niall tried to call out to Harry, but it was too late. He was out in a second, and while Harry turned to make his way to Niall, the buff man stuck the needle in his neck.

hello my party peoples!! if this is your first time checking out my account, this is my first book. it's not too good and i tried making this before and published it, but it wasn't getting the feedback i wanted. i refurbished it in attempt to fix it, but it's kind of short as of right now. i deleted the other two chapters and i'm going to redo the entire thing because i didn't like the plot before. this first chapter, like i said is really short, but that's because i want to get a feel of what i'm gonna do for future chapters. i won't update a lot, the sole purpose of this story is to grow in my writing. just a heads up, Niall and Harry will be younger than the rest of the boys. the two being 16 and the rest the age they are now.
