Chapter 4

Arlo's POV

Arlo sat there on the bus, thinking over a few things. What has become of Seraphina, she's forgotten her duties and left us? he thought, Arlo had thought she had been better than that. He looked around at my team seeing Elaine, Blyke, and Remi. They had just arrived at the site, and they left the bus. "Arlo, why are we here again?" asked Remi. He responded, "There is a new school that's been climbing up the ranks undefeated, I plan to fix that." He arrived first seeing a diverse set of characters. One looked like a rip off ninja, the other a stereotypical emo kid, a rip of priest, and the last had multi-colored eyes. "What is this the carnival?" Arlo asked. The eye boy responded, "Look at yourself!" "Hey I hear your undefeated so far, Jamersin was it?" "Yeah, we are undefeated, why do you care? I mean your number one we just started. I mean if you want to be defeated it's up to you." "One on one, or Three on three, sense your new you can choose." "One on one!"

Elaine and the priest went to the center and initiated the first round.

BATTLE POV

Blyke vs Ian

Blyke rushed forward after Ian, boosting himself with his beams. As they were about to collide, Ian disappeared. Blyke then stood still, listening for footsteps. He heard some, then fell to the ground. All of a sudden Ian was no longer invisible, and had an ethereal looking blade to Blyke's neck. Blyke kicked Ian in the nards, and shot the ground in a circle closing in constantly to create a barrier of smoke, if he couldn't see Ian, Ian couldn't see him. As he was doing this, He convulsed in pain as he was getting sliced from all sides by the same blade, but THROWN! Blyke stumbled out, crawling on the ground, when Remi had enough, "Enough, you are the clear winner of round 1"

Remi vs Ian

Remi knew what Ian could do so she created a static field around her, to disrupt his invisibility slightly. Ian didn't catch on in time and entered the field. The second he did Remi Removed the field and put all of her power into blasting him. After that devastating hit, he seemed almost crisp. The priest ran to the field and dragged Ian Back. "You may have won this one blondie, but it was a Jack versus a Queen!" said the Red head, with multi-colored eyes.

Remi vs Gamie

Now, Gamie was at the advantage, she had seen Remi and Remi had not seen her. Remi sent a bolt at Gamie just to test what she would do. Gamie just walked to the right, and Remi couldn't see her anymore. Remi assumed that Gamie was invisible and tried the same tactic of a static field. As she was doing this, She fell to the ground, because throwing knives were in the back of her kneecaps. Remi's pony tail was then pinned to the ground. Arlo stood there sweat beading down his head, even though it was obvious who the winner was Arlo wouldn't call her back. Elaine rushed to Arlo's side, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ARLO, SHE'S HURT CALL HER BACK!" Arlo snapped, "I KNOW BUT WE CANNOT LOSE, WE CANNOT LOSE!" Elaine yelled, "It's over you win!" Arlo looked at Elaine as if she had betrayed him, and slapped her across the face. Remi was rescued and healed.
