Look i dont remember writing any of the other parts of this so uh. Yeah. New timeline/timeline rework
In fact heres my rework of dc canon in general. This is the canon now.
Bruce loses parents around 11
He drops college at 18 to travel and stuff
In the age range of 19-20 when he first starts being batman because he wants to help and is young and healthy enough to pull it off.
He picks up dick when he's 22, so two years into being bats. Dick is 13. Babs joins when she's 16, Dick is 15, Bruce is 24. No romance happens between Babs and Bruce because thats not my canon, thanks.
Nightwing happens when Dick's 18, headed to college. Babs has dropped being batgirl due to also being in college. Bruce is 27. Around two years later (bruce 29), a certain 15 year old Jason Todd is found stealing the wheels of the batmobile and idiot batdad takes him in because Bruce just cant help himself, can he. Just has to adopt every kid he sees.
Jason is robin for around two years when he dies (17ish, Bruce 31, Dick 22, Babs 23) and is brought back very shortly after.
Tim joins in very shortly after, when he's around 14, Bruce is 32, Jason 18, Dick 23, Babs 24.
Jason leaves the league and takes up being red hood when he's 19. Bruce 33, Dick 24, Babs 25, Tim 15.
Stephanie joins at 16. Bruce 34, Dick 25, Babs 26, Jason 20, Tim 16.
The Killing Joke incident, and Babs becoming oracle happens around here. No one's any older because it happens either just before or just after steph becomes batgirl. Babs hasnt been batgirl for 7 years now.
Tim becomes red robin and steph goes back to being spoiler when they're 17. Bruce is 35, Dick 26, Babs 27, Jason 21.
Cassandra gets taken in shortly after at 16, no one's aged because its VERY shortly after. She becomes Black Bat when she's 18. Bruce 37, Dick 28, Babs 29, Jason 23, Tim & Steph 19.
And then Damian comes in. He's 12. Bruce is 38. Dick 29, Babs 30, Jason 24, Tim & Steph 20, Cass 19. (Bruce would have had Dami when he was 26).
I like the timeline where Babs gets that implant and becomes batgirl again. I like it because it shows how even if you get an implant or something some days are worse than others, and sometimes it might fail and you dont know if it will work again. So even when she puts back on the batgirl outfit, most times she has to prove what many never believed: When she was oracle, when her abilities were limited to her mind, she was JUST as powerful. Anyways so that happens around the time Damian's taken in, so she mostly just does Batgirl only if she needs to, because she's 30 and she doesn't really intend on screwing up her newly reworking legs.
Mayhaps Bruce and Selina get married. Mayhaps. Bruce 39. Selina 36. Dick 30. Babs 31. Jason 25. Tim & Steph 21. Cass 20. Dami 13.
And you know maybe Dami gets to grow older and he doesn't want to be robin anymore because he wants to focus on school, and you know what. Maybe Carrie Kelley gets to exist in the main universe as robin. But instead of it being because of why she existed in the other universe, its just because bruce feels like he cant properly be Batman without a chatty little kid he can look out for and help guide. Maybe its because he never got the chance to be with his parents that much. Anyways Carrie is like 17 so she's rlly not that young but she sees this big lonely batdad and thinks 'yeah, okay, i guess i need a big grumpy old man to be my guide on this journey I'm on.' Bruce 42. Selina 39. Dick 33. Babs 34. Jason 28. Tim & Steph 24. Cass 23. Dami 16.
And then mayhaps Terry happens but all the bad stuff doesnt. He just wants someone to carry on the Batman legacy and maybe Terry is like related to one of Carrie's friends or smth. And all the other batkids have their own lives and Bruce is alright with that and so he takes Terry in and starts training him to be Batman. Bruce 46. Selina 43. Dick 37. Babs 38. Jason 32. Tim & Steph 28. Cass 27. Dami 20. Carrie 21. Terry 16.
Terry finally becomes Batman (Bruce didnt want him out as batman without proper training). Bruce 50. Selina 47. Dick 41. Babs 42. Jason 36. Tim & Steph 32. Cass 31. Dami 24. Carrie 25. Terry 20.
