She thinks to herself, 'yeah, I think I'll like it here.'

Soon, the car pulls into an underground structure, by now (Y/N) has had time to observe every line in the car, including that of her new mother's. The delicate slope of her resting frown, as if feeling eyes on her, Laurel opens her eyes lightly as the car comes to a stop, meeting (Y/N)'s watchful eyes.

"We're here." (Y/N) replied bluntly yet softly. "How do I get out of these safety binds?"

At around this time, Joseph has slightly woken up, a sleepy laugh coming from his disheveled form. He unbuckles himself, coming over to.  (Y/N)'s side after a back cracking stretch and lung squeezing yawn, and opens her door.

"You push the red button here." He says sleep evident in his slightly wining voice.

Pushing the button, (Y/N) slides out of the car, glad to no longer be confined to the still air that it held, she turns to the Speedwagon, eyes somehow still bright under the dull lighting of the parking garage.

"Momma, do you need help removing your safety bonds?" She asked, Joseph leaning on the car and almost falling asleep once again.

"I got it starshine." Laurel replied slurred with a yawn as she unbuckles and steps out, (Y/N) coming over and taking her hand, leading Laurel to where Joseph was before letting go and walking over to the driver, who also exited the car, grabbing Joseph's bag from the trunk and tugging lightly at his uniform to get his attention.

He pauses and crouches down to the girl's height, only to be surprised by her hugging him, a warm smile appearing on his face after a second, a chuckle resounding from his chest.

"Thank you Mr. Driver, for bringing us here." She said as the embrace ends, going back to Laurel and waving as he leaves.

After this, she grabs both Laurel and Joseph by the hands and walks with the tottering adults to the elevator doors that would take them into the home.

"Papá, would you mind coming out and helping...big brother is really heavy..." (Y/N) whispers bluntly as Joseph puts a little more weight onto the girl than she was expecting.

Soon, Caesar appeared from a nearby shadow, as though born from the shadows. With a smile, he takes Joseph's bag, sliding it over his shoulder and helping to half drag the sleepy living adults to the elevator and leaning them against the walls.

"I should go back, you need your strength Bella, stay strong, papá will be watching" He said cheerfully, fist extended

"I will papá." The girl replies, placing her smaller fist against his before he goes to a nearby shadow and sinks back into the shadow realm. "Big brother... What button should be pressed?"

"Floor 5..." He mumbled sleepily

Nodding, (Y/N) presses the button, causing the elevator to lurch into an upward motion, the movement always making (Y/N) feel strange, Laurel yawns loudly beside the little girl, pulling her attention from the rising numbers displayed on the digital screen.

"Mama, why do people yawn?" (Y/N) asks, her green eyes shining into sleep dulled blue ones behind purple glasses.

Yawning again Laurel answers " it's because the brain needs more oxygen."

The little girl nods as the elevator halts with a slight jerk, doors opening to darkness, (Y/N)'s eyes adjusting easily. Joseph stands straight and steps off of the elevator, fallowed by Laurel, then little (Y/N), who looked around the room, eyeing the two figures breathing steadily on the couches.

"Where is that light?"  Joseph mumbled as he knocked into a table, a small thud resounding throughout the  open room, waking one of the forms. It reached over and turned on a light, momentarily blinding the three travelers.

"Papa? Is that you?" A woman asks, rubding her eye much like how Joseph does.

" Holly, what are you and your mother doing sleeping in the living room?" Joseph asks, kneeling down beside his daughter so she can hug him.

"We were wanting to wait up for you, but I guess mama and I feel asleep." She replied chuckling, then noticing Laurel and the little girl, the latter  silently watching the exchange with bright green eyes.

"Papa, who are these people?" Holly asked, gesturing to the two new people.

" Let's wake you mother up before we do introductions, okay?" Joseph asked, sleep leaving him slightly as he moved to his wife, kissing her forehead and lightly shaking her. "Suzie... Suzie darling, wake up."

"J-joseph? Is that you? What time is it?" The elderly woman asked, grasping her glasses and looking around. "And who are they."

"(Y/N), come here please." Joseph said, turning to the little girl. " I want you to meet my wife and daughter, your family."

Quietly, the little girl padded over to him, looking the two women over, them doing the same to her, a tense few seconds passed in which the three women looked at each other.

"Hello, my name is (Y/N) Zeppalie. Joesph's little sister, it's nice to meet you." She said, extending a hand first to Suzie Q, who shook it hesitantly and then turned to to Holly, hand still extended, only to be scooped into the woman's arm with a small squeal from Holly.

"So cute! Who knew my auntie would be so adorable!" Holly gushed, hugging the confused girl to her chest.

"Auntie? What's an auntie?" (Y/N) asks, looking to Joseph for help.

"Holly, please let her go, we just got in,  she must be sleepy." Joseph pleaded with his daughter.

"But I don't really sleep..." (Y/N) replied honest as ever.

Holly lays back down, the little girl snug in her arms.

"This cutesy is gonna sleep with me, okay?" Holly said, covering the two up. The little girl shrugged and allows this.

Sighing, Joseph takes his wife and laurel, taking them to their rooms, before coming back and picking up the already fast asleep Holly up and carrying her, (Y/N) and all to her room.

" I take it they like me big brother?" (Y/N) asks as  Holly let's her go after being placed in her bed, and fallows Joseph back to Laurel's room, light snores being heard from within.

"Of course they like you, good night (Y/N)." Joseph replies, ruffling her hair before walking off to his room to sleep.

Entering the room, (Y/N) notices that Laurel fell asleep, glasses still on. With a sigh, she removes them and sets them on the table beside the bed and covers her mama's sleeping form, crawling onto the other side and snuggles into Laurel's side, looking out the window as she waits for morning, listening to the sounds of her new home, a real home....at last.
