To School We Go

Reader's POV:

You sat in your bed recalling recent memories. You and Nazz had gotten closer in the passed few weeks. You both texted each other about miscellaneous topics and you really enjoyed her company. You would almost consider her to be your best friend. But even though your social future was looking bright, you couldn't help but wonder what Edd was up to. He hadn't called or messaged you whatsoever since you'd given him your number. Sure you saw him at school and he kept on trying to push your buttons just to get a reaction out of you, but he hadn't even mentioned having your phone number. Alright. I'll ask him about it tomorrow. You decided and went to sleep.

The next morning, after you had gotten dressed and ready for the day, you stepped outside to walk to school. Your front lawn was still dappled with tiny dew drops as you walked over to the sidewalk. You paused as you noticed a figure approaching from the opposite side of the cul-de-sac. Soon enough Edd was beside you. "Hey Y/n lets walk together." Edd said.

"Do I have a choice..?" you asked bluntly. "Eh you know you love me." Edd winked as you blushed, "And no. You don't have a choice."

As you both walked through the humid morning mist in silence, a thought popped into your head. "Oh Edd I've been meaning to ask you-" You were cut off my Edd, "Wait wait don't tell me. You wanted to ask me to have your babies right?"
"No Eddward, I do not wish to have your babies." You narrowed your eyes at him. "I was going ask why you never text me."
"Why? Do you want me to text you? Wow I knew you were desperate for my attention but I never knew you wanted me that badly ;))))" Edd smirked.
"Oh fuck off. I was just wondering, I mean whats the point of giving you my number if you aren't even gonna call?" You were trying to act natural, but it was honestly disappointing to you that he next even bothered to send a little hello.
Edd thought for a moment and shrugged,"You have a point. I've just been really busy lately with homework and shit. I hardly even have time to hang out with the guys."
"The guys? How did an emo fuckboy like you manage to make friends?" You laughed.
"Ehh you should probably stay away from those freaks, they aren't the most reputable people on the planet.."
"What are they gang members or something? Oh lord are you in a gang Eddward!?" You joked in a concerned voice.
"Na, they're just a bunch of idiots who I've known all my life. I guess you could call it a gang, heh the Eds gang." He smirked.
"Ed's gang huh? Naming your gang after yourself sounds a bit conceded." You teased.
"Actually our names all derive from the name Ed. Theres Ed, with one D. Me, Edd, with two Ds. And then finally you have Eddy, hes the ringleader of this whole operation." Edd replied nonchalantly.
"Ed with one D? Oh I met him a few weeks ago. He seemed nice enough, but he wouldn't stop talking about The Shining." You said.
"Yeah he'll talk your ear off when it comes horror movies. Did he talk to you about gravy?" Edd asked as you both approached the school.

"Um..? Gravy?" You asked.

"Forget it. Lets get to class." Edd said just as you and him entered the school doors.
