It was the last thing Anya, the daughter of Aphrodite said to him. Jesse laid on his bed and looked at the ceiling of Cabin one. It been months since he seen her, his beautiful Anya. For these past months Jesse, the son of Jupiter had to force himself to just go through life because, someday hell see her again. He knew that until that day come, he would have to keep up the image of being the charming, confident and handsome guy at camp. That was the image that his admirers managed to paint in their minds. Sadly, They dont know the cold truth, that he have his own little demons. Jesse was actually insecure and stressed out of holding up the image. He want to be acknowledge but not by fellow demigods. He want Jupiter to acknowledge him and, his hard work. The only girl that ever understood the real Jesse was gone and now he was surrounded by admirers and annoying haters. Everyone outside of Jesse's life or not a child of the big three wouldn't fully understand his life. They might think that Jesse was living the dream life.

Having men wishing to be him or get in his pants. Having many girls hoping that one day, they'll be Mrs.Rayde or get in his pants. Then there was of course the Jesse groupies, especially a specific groupie thats obsessed. She goes around bragging about having sex, states how much she despised and then proclaim her love for him to almost everyone at camp. Jesse always find out because some random camper or his half-sister, Amber would approach him saying,

He groaned loudly and shook his head and they would leave it at that. It was obvious that he didnt want to talk about it plus who would really risk the chance of getting struck by lightning. As Jesse listened to the singer, he started to think about Anya. He missed her so much from her beautiful blue eye, her perfect beauty, her smile. Jesse missed everything about her. He couldn't stop thinking about their last good-bye.

They stood at the gateway hugging each other and he pushed her bangs away from her forehead and placed a soft kiss on it. Anya smiled brightly and blushed a little. She saw that he was blaming himself. She placed her hand on his cheek softly. Jesse, Im not leaving because of you. Im going to be back soon. She reassured him with a kiss on his cheek before turning around and made her way to the airplane. Jesse stood there and watch as the sun gleamed on her and, it was as if admiring an angel. Jesse couldnt help but wonder if he was the reason for, her leaving to Camp Jupiter.

Lightning Boy!! Lightning Boy!! A familiar voiced shouted at him causing him to snap out of it. Jesse quickly fixed himself and stood up. Hey, what can I do for you? he asked in his usual charming way. The daughter of Athena blushed deeply and giggled. Well... We know each other for a while and I know that we sometimes go at it and not to mention we had sex before which was great. I love you. The girl finally confessed her love to Jesse then tried to kiss him. He covered his mouth before she could place her lips on him.

As Jesse got his things, he made his way to the airport to board a plane to California.

Mean while In, Oakland, California at night ,Anya was actually finishing up training with her brother. She wasnt truly happy because she missed Jesse. She loved being at Camp Jupiter but, sometimes when youre not with that special someone, you wont feel truly happy. Everyone at Camp Jupiter was either sweet or just plain rude. She mainly hanged out with her siblings since they welcomed her, sort of. After she got to the fifth cohort, she was exhausted and just collapsed on the bed and listen to some chatter and then Brutus, Catherines dog barking at another random camper. Anya sighed heavily as she looked at a picture of her and Jesse at the Winter Waltz dance. She miss him so much but, she wasnt ready to go back. Anya drifted off to sleep due to exhaustion. Unknowingly of a big surprise that she was going to receive tomorrow. The very next day as Anya was walking through camp Jupiter. She came face to face with Jesse holding a lovely bouquet of flowers. He smiled brightly as Anya returned it.

Wow Jesse. What brings you here? she spoke in a surprised manner and fix her hair a little. The boy smiled and scratch his head then took a breath. Im here for you. Anya sighed and shook her head, Jesse Im sorry bu she was cut off when he placed a kissed on her lips softly. She was surprised but, returned the kissed back while wrapping her arms around him. They kissed for a while and not caring about the crowd they just attracted. Jesse pulled away slowly and looked at her deeply, I love you, Anya. He smiled brightly watching Anya blushed deeply. I love you too. She smiled brightly then squealed loudly as Jesse scooped her up into his arms. Anya I hate being away from you he paused for a while before Anya cut in. I know Jesse because I need you here with me too. She said as she earned herself another kiss from her lover. I guess that you can say that we needed each other. He said and Anya couldnt agree with him more. All the Romans cheered for them and the children of Venus let some doves fly over them signifying Anya and Jesses love.
