I was a peasant, he was a prince and he was madly in love with me but like any other stories where the prince marries a peasant and live happily ever after, well my story is different.
my story begins with me doing my daily chores that is needed to be done I was buying the daily bread and eggs. well that morning I was looking at the other stalls that were there I saw many necklaces but the one that caught my eye was a blue sapphire necklace. I really like it so I asked the vendor how much it was and he said 50 doubloons I checked to see if I had enough to buy it but I was 30 doubloons short. So I sighed and left back home on the way home I bumped into a man who was wearing a cloak and was very tall. someone called out to him so after apologizing to him I left home to finish my chores. The next day I went to go see if that necklace was still at the stall unfortunately it wasn't. I left the stall disappointed that I wasn't able to get it, as I was walking home I noticed that I was being followed so I naturally started running as fast as I can towards home but also trying to lose him but as I started running he started running. I made it to the forest that was on the edge of the village and started weaving through it in order to lose him but apparently he had a whole group with him and they were on horses the chances of me getting caught were very high but I kept running towards home hoping that they would give up soon. They had other plans though they were persistent and I was running out of ideas and breath I am amazed by how long I have been running I guess it's the fear and adrenaline that is keeping me going as far as I can but that is running out. After breaking through the trees I see my home and start trying to run faster but unfortunately they caught me. I started screaming and kicking hoping that I will get loose somehow and be free but my captor was stronger than me so that didn't work. After months of being kidnapped I realized that my captor was none other than the prince he was obsessed with me he didn't let me leave his side not even to the bathroom he had to be in distance of me in order to keep an eye on me but on days when he's in his study I go to explore, with a guard of course, when exploring I met an assassin here to kill the prince at the time I didn't know what he was there for turns out that he was the castles chef and he was the one who made our breakfast, lunch, and dinner after months of knowing each other he told me his plan we loved each other during those few months we had a plan to run away together but on the day that we had planned he never came to the meeting spot so naturally I went looking for him in the kitchen but instead of finding him I found the prince in a chair drinking wine looking like he was waiting for me. He heard me enter the room and stood up he looked at me and said "thought you could leave me didn't you" I immediately asked what he was talking about meanwhile stepping backwards in search of the door in the dark room but as I was walking backwards he stepped forward turns out that he knew of the chefs plan to poison his food and that he also knew of what has been going on between us. As I was trying to move away from him I stepped in a puddle, I stopped and looked down to look at it was him my beloved on the floor with a knife sticking out he looked like he was stabbed multiple times after being beaten as well he was unrecognizable but I knew that was him" this Is what happens if you try to leave me said the prince so close to me" that he was whispering to me. I was frozen unable to move from fear and heartbreak. What they both didn't know is that the maid who brought out the food gave them the wrong plates so the one who got poisoned was her. After the murder of the chef she started to get sick she had to be bedridden the prince was distraught, the girl however was relieved and welcomed death with open arms hoping to be relieved from her nightmare and to be reunited with her beloved.one night the girl was on the verge of death, the doctors weren't able to help her no matter what they did, she and the prince were the only ones in the room the prince was crying but she was smiling in happiness she hoped that her death would be his downfall so no one else should have to go through what she has. After a few minutes of silence, she spoke "my dear prince you have no idea how delighted I am to die at this moment, to see you so distraught" the prince
looked shocked by what she said to him he loved her he would give anything for her but
apparently that wasn't what she had wanted. The prince was furious by what she said and
demanded an explanation from the dying woman she said "my dear prince ever since you
took me from my beloved home I haven't loved a single time I loved once but you
murdered him out of jealousy of him taking something that didn't belong to you in the first
place. If you had simply done things correct than maybe, I would have something with you
but apparently you didn't like simple you wanted something and you got it but it comes with
consequences." So with that she took her final breath of life and passed away in his arms
with a smile she looked at peace. The prince on the other hand started sobbing like a
madman he started screaming and started to break everything in the room. He calmed
down after a while and kneeled next to her he noticed that she had the sapphire necklace
that he had gotten her at the market all those months ago when he took her from her home
he took it off her and put it on himself thinking that that necklace would be the last
reminder of his beloved whom he loved with everything that he had but apparently she
didn't and that broke him more. Up above is a golden gate and at the gate is a man that
looks like he is waiting for someone. He looks up from the ground after hearing footsteps
coming closer to him and notices it's his love he runs towards her and she to him. He picks
her up and twirls her around both laughing with happiness he puts her down and they both
walk into the gates of heaven.
