Chapter 2. Lunch

It's lunch time, and literally EVERYONE is in the school cafeteria. Christina takes me to where she usually sits. There's a table full of people... Including Tobias. I'm not sure, but I think Tobias looked a little but happier when he saw us coming. Christina introduces everyone to me.

"This is Uriah, his brother Zeke, Shauna, her sister Lynn, and Marlene, and Will. Oh, and you know Four." I sit down across from Tobias.

"You're right Christina, I do know Four." I smirk and stare into the beautiful eyes of Tobias. They remind me of an ocean. A crystal blue ocean. Then I realise, not only am I staring at Four, at a table of new friends, but he is staring back.

"OMG guys, get a room!" Christina says lazily.

"What? What were we doing?" Tobias asks innocently.

"You guys should date." She says in the same bored tone.

"Maybe we will." Oh. My. God. Did Tobias just say he'd date me!?

After the awkwardness of the previous conversation had died down, Zeke stands up on the middle of our table, and catches the attention of the entire cafeteria, by whistling with his fingers in his mouth.

"Everyone, party at my house. Tonight. 8 o'clock. If you don't know where I live, find out or don't come." A lot of people cheered, and returned to eating. But I had just one question.

"Zeke, it's a Monday! We have school tomorrow!" I say, shocked that he would even consider having a party on a school night.

"Relax. Everyday in my mind is a Friday!" He says with joy. "But it's also a pupil free day tomorrow." He winks at me.

"OMG, we need to get outfits girls. Meet me outside..... Tris' car after school! You have the nicest!" She's right, I do have the nicest, but probably because my parents have the most money they are willing to spend on absolutely anything. My "pocket money", is $100,000 a week.

The next class, was music.

"Alright everyone, we're not going to do any real work today. So every grab a cushion from the back and sit down. We're just going to sing. Tobias raced the whole class to get to a cushion. And when he sat down, there were a group of girls hovering around him. But then he looks at me as I was going off to get a cushion, and beckons me towards him. She pats his lap, and tells me to sit down. I do. When I look around the room, I see that's hat other, couples, are doing. Wait, does that mean Tobias and I are a...

I lean my head back against his muscular chest, and I feel his arms wrap around my bare skin. It sends a small shock of electricity to go through my body.

While everyone's singing the songs, neither Tobias or I actually sing. I'm not that bad, and neither is he, but we just can't be bothered. During an upbeat pop song, Tobias leans forward and whispers into my left ear.

"Tris Prior. Will you go out with me?" Ahh! I almost scream!!

"YES!" I reply almost immediately, overcome with excitement. Without thinking, I turn around, him meeting me half way, and a kiss him. It's gentle at first, but becomes more forceful, like he's sure of himself. Not that I'm complaining. I don't realise that we've been making out for so long, that the song that had only just started, had already finished, and the class was cheering. At what? At us! And the teacher was too wrapped up in his laptop to even notice.

The rest of the day's classes were extremely boring, the only good part was I saw more of Tobias.

As I was walking out of the grounds, I walked past a thick tree, and an arm reached and grabbed mine. The touch sent a jolt of electricity through my body, so it could only be one person. He rests me gently against the tree and kisses me. Twice as sure as he was last time. I put my arms around his neck and his hands are on my bare waste. I bend one leg just about his hip, and he holds onto it. I don't even know what I'm doing, but my body does, so I just go with it. My hands are going through his hair now. I bend the other, so my full weight is shared between him and the tree. Now my full body is taller that his. He leans me up against the tree, and I put my hands under his shirt... Somehow... And onto his chest.

We stay like that for about 5 minutes. He will occasionally kiss my neck, and then comes back for my lips again.

While we are still making out, Christina comes over, in shock.

"Wow, um Tris. When I said you guys should date, I didn't mean straight away. The girls and I have been waiting at your car for like, 20 minutes!"

"Oh sorry. Ok, I have to go now Four." He realeses my legs, and I go to leave. But before leaving, he gives me one more kiss.

"See you tonight, Beatrice." He says. And I laugh.

"OMG TRIS!!! WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME BEFORE!?" Christina asks when we're far enough away from Tobias for him not to hear us.

"I'm sorry, it happened it music, he asked me out!"

"Ahhhh! That means we have to make you look even BETTER tonight! I'm so happy for you!
