Me and Mum had talked for ages, longer than ever before. She apologised for never being there for me throughout my life and constantly assured me that she loved me. In return, I kept apologising for never getting her help.

I said that I would stay in England to help her, but she kept insisting that I stay in LA. She said that I seemed happier and my Dad was taking care of me really well.

Ooh, speaking of my Dad, him and Mum also made up and talked a lot. They seemed to get along really well and Mum seemed to really be enjoying herself.

Wow, come to think of it, I've never seen Mum be as happy as she has since she woke up in that hospital bed yesterday. Seeing her happy makes me happy. She's going home tomorrow, and once she's home, me, Dad and Steven are going back to LA

Which leads us to our current point in time, 30th July, mid afternoon, we'd just been visiting Mum but had been sent out. Dad had just gone to get a coffee so me and Steven were walking around town until he joined us again.

"I love you Steven, I miss our alone time." I sighed, careful not to show him any physical affection in case Dad saw.

"I know, same baby. But at least your Mum's ok." He replied.

"I guess." I said.

"Yeah, anyway, when we get home we can have all the alone time you want." He winked, causing me to giggle.

I was really enjoying myself, until I saw someone I really didn't want to see.

"Mike." I muttered to Steven, frozen on the spot.

"Where?" Steven asked, angrily.

Mike turned around and started walking to us, so I dived into a nearby bush, hiding.

"Hey, you're Steven Tyler aren't you?" I heard Mike's familiar voice yell, before seeing him running towards Steven.

"Yes, I am him." Steven replied anxiously as he got close.

"Oh! My girlfriend, Soph, loves you guys!" He exclaimed. His girlfriend, what?!

"Oh, cool! Where is she?" Steven asked.

"I'm not sure, haven't seen her for a bit." He replied, sighing.

"Hey Steven, where's Soph?" Dad asked, approaching, causing, me, Steven and Mike to tense up.

"Who's Soph?" Mike asked, very suspiciously.

"My daughter, Sophie Tallarico." Steven replied, trying to make it less obvious.

"What?" Dad asked, confused.

"Joe, this is Mike. Mike, this is the lead guitarist of Aerosmith, Joe. Mike was just saying how his girlfriend, Soph, is a fan of ours." Steven said.

"Oh, it's nice to meet you, Mike." Dad said, also tensing up at the realisation of Mike.

"Yeah, you too." Mike replied, narrowing his eyes.

"Anyway, we best be off, bye." Steven said.

"Yeah." Mike muttered, awkwardly.

I saw him look round Dad and Steven, looking right at me, a look of shock on his face.

"You little bitch." He scowled at me.

"Oh fuck." I muttered, before getting up and running away.

Fortunately for me, I was quick. Unfortunately for me, he was quicker.

I ran down the street, Mike trailing me, and Steven and Dad trailing him, all after me.

I ran down into an alley (I know, not the greatest idea), but I was trying to lose Mike. Let me tell you now, it didn't work, so don't get your hopes up.
