Chapter 8 | "It's nice to be back"

Setting: Lux

Lucifer scanned the club for Azrael. She was nowhere to be found.

Maze walked up to him, "Whatcha looking for?"

"Oh just a troublesome sister, that's all."

"Another one of your siblings on earth?"

"Yes. And she brought Cain from Heaven to earth, which is why I need to have a chat with her."

"WAIT." Maze stared at him in puzzlement, "Cain went to Heaven?"

Lucifer nodded. "Exactly my reaction."

The demon pulled out her blade and twirled it in her hand. "I can torture him if you want."

"Sure. Just don't kill him. Yet."

"But killing is fun. Especially when it comes to killing my enemies."

Lucifer gave her the death stare. "You have my word, Maze."

"Fine. Where is he?"

Lucifer pointed to the elevator.

"Got it." She walked into it.

Setting: Lucifer's Penthouse

Maze walked out of the elevator. "How's it going Cain?"

Cain turned around. "Oh. You."

"Lucifer sent me here to torture you, so..." She collected all of her torturing tools and knives and set them on the table. "Which one should I start with?"

Cain laughed.

Maze walked over to him and slapped him. "Shut up and choose one."

"Ow."

"Hurry. I'm not waiting all day." The demon snapped.

"I think you should choose." Cain smirked at her.

"You're boring." She grabbed a knife and threw it at Cain's head. He ducked as the knife flew out of the balcony.

"You're not supposed to dodge it." Maze snarled.

"It's not that hard to dodge a knife, honestly."

She grinned. "Try me." The demon twirled her blade from Hell in her hand.

Cain shook his head. "Okay, so that's not fair-"

Maze threw the blade at him, it stabbed into his large arm.

"OW!"

"Oops. I was aiming for the floor."

Cain grabbed the end of the blade and yanked it out of his arm, shouting in pain.

"Having fun yet?" The demon smirked.

"Yeah. Lots of fun." Cain got up and punched her in the face, but she dodged it.

"Looks like you've been working out up there in Heaven." Maze joked, and kicked him.

 Cain grabbed her foot and flung her into the bar table, knocking over bottles and shattering glass. 

Maze forced herself up, "Jerk."

Suddenly the elevator doors opened. "What is going on here?" The Devil's British accent echoed through the room.

Maze froze and stared at Lucifer as he walked into the penthouse. "Uh..."

"What is this mess, Maze? I told you to torture him, not fight with him." Lucifer snarled.
