cathryn was born in london, england to her mother, adriana watson, and father, andrew adams. she's the oldest of the watson kids, her brother, cecil adams, being four years younger than her.
when cathryn was fourteen years old her mother passed away due to mysterious causes. cathryn took her mother's surname instead of her fathers by that time.
when cathryn turned sixteen years old, her brother got very sick and died later that year. her father was devastated and got into a deep depression. cathryn had to go into foster care until she turned eighteen.
after she turned eighteen, she went back to london and started to study to become a teacher. she never completed her studies but somehow the schools she worked at gave her a chance to show what she knew. that's how she became a substitute teacher.
