Ladybug was hard at work! She was in the middle of a battle when the string came loose from her yo-yo. She looks at it in shock. The yo-yo is practically useless now, or is it? There is only one way to find out.
Ladybug calls out "Lucky charm!" She looks to see a box with a pair of red boots with black polka dots on them. "What will I do with this?" Ladybug says. "Wow, m'lady , nice boots you have there!" Chat Noir says. "Ugh, Chat! It is not the time for your flirty behavior! We still have to catch a villain you know." Ladybug replies. "Oh, sorry, Bugaboo!" Chat says.
Ladybug takes a look around her and comes up with a plan! She throws the boots towards Chat who hits them with his baton. Then, the boots go up into the air and land on top of the villains head. Now that he can no longer see either of them, they have the advantage now. Ladybug smiles as Chat grabs the scarf from his neck and catcylsm's it!
The akuma comes out at last! "Gotcha! Time to de-evilize! No more evil doing for you little bug!" Ladybug calls out as she catches the akuma, and purifies it!
"Miraculous Ladybug!" She says as she gets the boots back and tosses them into the air. Everything goes back to normal. The broken string on the yo-yo even fixed itself. She is happy to see that everything is as it should be once again!
After all, a heroes job is never done, or something to that effect. She often feels as if the akumas are like Hawkmoth's evil army of "minions," or "dust" that never ceases to be gone! Sometimes she feels like she is a house keeper who constantly has to work hard at the chores with little payment and recognition for all her hard work.
As all the thoughts go around in her head, Chat puts his fist out towards her. She smiles and they both say as in sink, "Pound it!"
Chat looks at her and says, "Please, m'lady may I know who you are?"
Ladybug smiles and says, "Sorry, Chat! We just can not. It will be safer for everyone as long as we do not know." With that said, she swings away into the cold, Paris, evening. She arrives home safely, and sighs as she destransforms in her room.
Once again, she feels guilt for letting Chat down, but what more can she do? She loves Jack! Jack is the boy she crushes on hard. How she not love him? He did loan her his jacket on the first day of school and ever since she has been in love with him.

Chat goes home sad. He sighs as he thanks about the rejection from the love of his life, Ladybug! Why does he love her, his partner so much anyway? It is not as if she sees him as more than a partner anyway. He thinks, perhaps that is the real reason she will not show me the real her is because she loves someone else. Who could he be? How dare he take her from me! She is meant to be my girl! I love her and here only!
Chat destransforms in his room and makes sure to give Plagg plenty of cheese. Plagg can see he feels a bit down, but does not know how to comfort him. Thanks to the kwami code of ethics, he can not tell Chat who the girl behind the mask is even if he wanted too. Besides, this fact, it is also true that only Ladybug herself can share her secret with Chat! This is only if she loves him as much as he loves her.
The next day, Jack arrives to school in a bad mood. He sees Becky and smiles just a little.
"H-hi, Jack!" Becky says.
