When you moved to Los Santos, you knew about the dangers of the part you moved to. But rent was cheap, work was everywhere and since your aunt died, you were on your own again.
Moving back to Los Santos was probably the best I could...
It was already my 4th day of work and I was sitting in the kitchen with Arlan, just talking about stuff. Bob didn't mind since there weren't any customers, he was just in his little office working on some paperwork. It was near closing time again, and when I heard the bell, meaning a customer had come in. I sighed, and looked at my phone for the time. 10:47 pm. The store would close in 13 minutes. I stood up and walked to the workplace, when I saw the people who came in. I froze completely. There were 5 armed masked men, just casually waiting at the bar, like they we're about to order some food. One of the men noticed me, he was wearing a hockey mask paired with a blue sweater, and walked up to me. He kind of reminded me of someone, but I couldn't lay a finger on it.
"Hi there ted-" He coughed loudly, as if he tried to cover up something he misspoke. "-Cutie, may I ask you to open your cash register. Pretty please?" He said in a playful tone, with a sharp edge on every word he spoke out. My eyes widen and I opened my mouth slightly, but no words came out and instead it just quivered a little. "Answer him" my eyes shot towards the man whose voice I heard. He had a piggy mask , and sounded really angry. Still no words came out of my mouth. Idiot! I just nodded and slowly walked towards the cash register and opened it when I heard a sound coming from Bob's office. "Get the fuck out of my store" I looked over and saw Bob standing there, with a gun pointed towards a guy in a monkey mask. "Now" the guy with the owl mask said and I heard gunshots. I quickly duck under the bar and started to freak out, my breathing was going like crazy and I covered my ears trying to block out the sounds but it was no use. I heard Bob scream in pain, I was too scared to look. I started crawling towards the back door, trying my best not to get spotted when I heard Arlans voice. ARLAN!
"Vanoss" he growled out. Vanoss? Who is Vanoss? "We finally found you Droid. You filthy traitor" I heard an unfamiliar voice say. "I left for as reason" Arlan hissed out and he growled out a scream sounding like he was trying to attack someone. I looked up from behind the bar and saw Arlan attacking the person in the owl mask, with a kitchen knife. I need to think of something, quick. I don't want Arlan get murdered.
...murdered.
Wait.
I look around trying to search for Bob, and found him in a heartbeat. He was on the ground, blood surrounding him, staring at the ceiling with broken eyes. He's gone. Tears started to block my vision. No. Not now. I need to think of something. I looked back to Arlan and saw he was sitting on the ground, looking up to the owl with the angriest expression. The owl had a gun pointed towards his head and held his hand on the trigger.
No.
I took the closest thing I saw and threw it towards the man. It hit him right in the head, he cursed turning around quickly and saw me. "Get her" he said without any emotion in his voice, as the pig and the hockey mask got towards me, and looked back to Arlan. I can't leave without him, I can't. I'll never forgive myself. I saw the birds finger move and I ran towards Arlan and pushed him out of the way, so I was in front of the shot, a sudden pain went through my shoulder and I grabbed it, screaming. Everything went black, and it was only a second later I heard another shot as I passed out.
