Chapter 15:

Friday Night

Jadore's POV

I was in class all day really anxious and excited about going out with August tonight, I went ahead and told Indy && Truth that I wasn't gonna be with them this weekend, at first they were mad but when I told them why they were stoked! I knew Truth was gonna be especially, she even said that since I "stole" August from her to put her on his brother Travis and I'm just like dang, it's just a date I don't even have August, I'm sure he has hella dates with chicks all throughout the week lol. After class I decided to go to Lenox and look for something to wear this weekend. I decided to go to Zara's and I found this cute red strapless dress for tonight's dinner and for tomorrow I just picked out some denim high waisted pants and a crop top, I had the perfect heels at home to go with them, I swung by the Dior counter and got some more air flash and then went to Lancôme and got more lipstick and I was set.
When I made it home it was about 5:30 so I knew I didn't have time to take a nap, I hung my dress up in the closet and hopped in the shower.
I was starting to get really excited about tonight, I couldn't believe that I, Jadore Mackenzie Spears, from Optimistic, Alabama is going on a date with August Alsina lol! It's funny you know cause I remember saying how I'd never talk to anyone famous like rappers or whatever cause by me working at Pyramids I already knew what they were about but I swear to you Aug is different, I know it's only been a week but the consistency && effort he put into talking to me he gotta want more than just sex! But let me keep calm, it's just a freaking date! After showering I dried off and put on some lotion and baby oil to make sure my skin was soft and smelling good. I was just about to get up and wash my face when my phone vibrated I looked down at it and it said: This Guy💔😩 I smacked my lips at the coincident that just happened! I haven't talked to or heard from Korteze since that night I left to go home with him from the club && now all of a sudden he wants to text on tonight😒. I debated on checking the text or not cause I knew that was gonna set me back in my feelings but against my better judgement I decided to check it anyway.

This Guy💔😩: Hey Kenzie Angel, just checking on you, haven't heard from you in a minute. I miss you and would really like to see you, what are your plans for tonight, are you working?

I looked at the screen for about 3 minutes and just when I thought about reniging on August && seeing Teze my phone vibrated again...Daddy Aug😏

Daddy Aug😏: Hey beautiful, hope you're ready for tonight. Wear something sexy for me lol, see you in a little.

That text made me smile to myself and I knew then what I was gonna be doing tonight. I texted August back and just said you'll see😉 after that I put my phone down cause I had to finish getting ready for my date. I had just washed my face and brushed my teeth when I heard a knock on my bathroom door. "Come in" in walked India && Truth both smiling all hard, "wth y'all smiling all hard for?" I asked laughing and suspicious at the same time. "Nothing girl, we're just so happy for you is all" Indy said looking like she almost wanted to cry. "Yeah girl, my baby is going on a date with August, we never thought we'd see the day you'd get over Korteze but your bounce back game is stronger than I thought, you pulling super stars and shit, still ain't figured out how I let you get my man lol" Truth crazy self said. By then I had finished applying my make up && started working on my hair, since my dress is strapless I decided to straighten my hair and put it in a bun my edges still had baby hair and it was nothing I could do about that, that's just some good hair lol. "Here, let me help you" Indy said pulling my hair up for me. "I want you to have fun and make sure you tell us alllll the details when we get back tonight, I wanna know what he smells like, if he smacks when he eat, how sexy is his chewing...&& if it's a really good night, how big the ping ping is cause I heard about that damn fabreeze can and I'm just knowing it's some truth to that or my name ain't Truth lol" Truth crazy ass said leaning up against the wall.
"Omg, I'm not planning on finding out how big his "ping ping" is tonight or no time soon" I said laughing, I thought about telling them that Korteze had texted me today but I did not wanna hear them going in on him, cause ain gone lie, I still got feelings for him.
"Thanks for your help Indy" I said getting off my stool, I'm about to get dressed, are y'all gonna be here before I leave or will I be seeing y'all when y'all get back from the club tonight? "Bish is you crazy? You think I'm bout to miss August ass coming up in here? Hell to the nall we ain't gone be gone nowhere before
his fine ass gets here, my bags packed, I'll leave as soon as y'all leave lol!" Truth said so serious "Whatever, y'all get out, I'm bout to get dressed." I said pushing them out laughing. After I pushed them out my room I went ahead and slid on my dress careful not to ruin my hair and make up, touched up black lipstick slid on my red bottoms applied a little oil on my neck and spray over my body and hair and I was ready to go. I looked in the mirror hoping that I wasn't too overdressed but then I shook off the notion when I thought about what my Moma always told me -Better to be overdressed than underdressed any day- I took a look at my clock on the wall and noticed that it was almost 7 when I heard a knock at the door. "I GOT IT" Truth loud ass screamed headed to the door I don't know why but I was glad she answered the door, my stomach got the butterflies outta nowhere and my throat had a lump in it, I was low key nervous again! 😩 That feeling was short lived thanks to Truth yelling "Doreeee, you have companyyyy" I took a deep breath looked in my full mirror once more, grabbed my clutch && phone and walked into the foyer. There stood a grinning Truth && August with roses in his hand. "Damn Bitch you look good" Truth blurted out causing us all to laugh "She's right though, you do" August said still smirking. "Thank you" I said blushing a little. "These are for you ma" he said handing me the bouquet of red and white roses. "Awe, thank you August!! They're gorgeous!" "I'll put them in some water for you" Truth interjected "Thanks boo, where Indy, she's gonna miss me" I said looking around "Oh she had to hop in the shower, she'll be okay, you guys have a good time tonight, wrap it up, don't make me a god mommy tonight...unless you can't help it then in that case make me a pretty baby, like your nieces, y'all got some strong ass genes" Truth said walking back down the hall. "Yo your friend wild" August said laughing "Yeahhhh, I'm sorry bout that, that's the crazy one" I said semi embarrassed "Na'll she cool, that's the homie, she looked out for me" referring to homecoming night when she wouldn't let me walk away. "So are you ready to go, I hope you have an appetite." "Yeah, I'm ready, I hope I'm not too overdressed" I said looking down at my outfit "Nall beautiful, you're perfect." I yelled to the girls that I was gone and just like that we were out the door. When we got to the parking lot Aug motioned me to his Range Rover, I thought my baby looked nice but you could tell his was customized. He opened the door and let me in, I swear I could sense him glaring at my ass, he shut the door and came around and got in, his truck smelled so good, it smelled like a mixture of cologne and black ice. He started the truck up and the xm radio was on coincidently his song No Love ft Nicki Minaj was on and we started laughing. "Danggg, you must really be hot lol" I said "I guess so" he answered, "I can turn it to something else if you want me to, I hear myself sing all the time, it's nothing." "Nall, it's fine, I love your voice" "that's what's up" he said with a smile. He started backing out the parking lot and we were headed to our destination. The ride was awesome we joked and talked and when it had gotten quiet it was just a cool type of quiet, not one of those awkward silence that you're thinking of what to say next. I had been so infatuated with my flowers earlier I hadn't really just payed attention to what he had on, he was looking so good in his all black and snap back on and smelled even better than he looked omg. I was admiring his "I do myoozik" tattoo and his sideburn that says "self" I didn't even feel myself staring and licking my lips, he glanced over and it broke my stare "you like what you see ma" he said turning back towards the road smiling "you over there licking your lips and we haven't even eaten yet, unless you see something else you want instead" he said laughing "omg be quiet" I said laughing low key embarrassed! "It's cool" he said smirking feeling all honored. "Whatever lol, how much longer do we have to go, I haven't eaten anything since lunch" I said clearly trynna change the subject "we're almost there, my behbeh hungry lol" that caused me to blush again, I found myself doing that a lot when it came to him. "Omg, Aug, turn it up, this is my song, I can't believe they took it back" they were playing "At Your Best by Aaliyah" I started singing low key forgetting about August being there "Dang Jadore, you got some pipes on you too girl, you sound just like her" "Lol, thanks, I can hold a note but that's it" "For real though, you got mad skills we're gonna have to talk about that, so anyway this is hands down the 2nd best place for New Orleans food in Atlanta, of course my moms is first" he said pulling up in this parking lot, he got out and opened the door for me, he took me by my hand and started walking, his hands were so huge compared to mines I notice the sign of the restaurant said The Crab Boil, I had never heard of this place but me not liking seafood I could see why lol, when we walked in the environment was so live, it had a dance floor, live DJ, and flashing lights everywhere ppl were just dancing and having a good time and automatically I started feeling in my element. We were seated in VIP upstairs. "August, so you really gone bring me to a seafood joint" I asked laughing, thinking to myself where's the nearest Popeyes or something. "Yup, you're gonna try it and you're gonna love it" he said confident "if you say so" the waitress came and handed us our menus and took our drink order I was sooo happy to see they had chicken strips && fries on the menu I was elated! I ordered that of course && he ordered something I honestly can't even tell you what it was called, we talked a little && our food came out, he blessed our food && right before I was getting ready to dig in he slid my plate to the side, "nall shawty, you gotta try this first" he said smirking 😏 again. "Awww man" I said semi pouting 😔 "As cute as you are I'm not letting those sexy lips tell me no" "Okay, I'll try just a little piece" I said reluctantly. He picked up what I'm assuming to be a crab leg && got something like a nutcracker && cracked it open && pulled some meat out, y'all I could've died lol!! He took a bite && then put the rest towards me && said "here mah, try it." At first I kinda sorta opened my mouth not really wanting to taste it but I thought about what I said last night and I had to keep my word. I opened up and he put the meat in my mouth and I chewed slowly trying not to think about what I just took in....it wasn't as bad as I thought honestly I didn't won't to admit it but by the look on his face he already knew that I didn't just hate it. "Soooo?" "It's not THAT disgusting, just a little" I said and we both started laughing! He let me try a few other things off his plate and some were good others not so much. "Here, you try it now", he handed me the little nutcracker thingy or whatever you call it. "Are you sure??" I asked looking uncertain "Yeah, you got it girl" "okayyy" I squeezed the thing really hard and crab juices flew all over my face "EWWWW!!!!" I said really loudly sooo embarrassed he just laughed "Calm down shawty, a little juice ain't never hurt nobody." I dabbed all the juice off of my face still embarrassed. "Here, you missed a spot" he got up and leaned over the table. "Where get it please" I said not wanting to smell like crab juice. He got in my face and licked my bottom lip then proceeded to kiss me. At first I was shocked wondering if I should resist but the way those lips were feeling I gave in alright. If I could put into words how juicy and soft his lips were I would say it's like kissing a cloud if that even makes sense. He nibbled on the bottom of my lip and I instantly got hot, if I didn't pull away from him I was gonna ruin my dress. "Mmm, I think I got it off lol" "yeah you did" I said grabbing another napkin and wiping my lipstick off of him, we were so into the kiss we didn't even noticed that the waitress had cam back to see if we needed anything, she kept looking all crazy in the face I just figured she was pressed about her job. After we told her no we finished eating and vibing to the DJ. "Omg, they look like they're having so much fun out there" I said swaying in the chair "Yeahh, it's always live in here, I love coming on old school night and just Chillen watching the old heads enjoy themselves" by then the DJ started playing Back that thang up "ohhhshit August, this is my jam, come on" I said grabbing him and pulling him down the steps to the dance floor. "Dang girl you strong, I was twearking on him and he was trynna handle it, Aug can't dance at all especially when he tried to do the nae nae I'm thinking its cause he's so tall but it was so cute I didn't want to hurt his feelings lol. After about 3 more songs the DJ switched it up on us and started playing slow jams, he played some Chris Brown then Ursher, and then after that he played Kissin on my Tattoos, Aug had his arms around my waist and I had my arms around his neck, he leaned down so that our foreheads were touching and we were looking eye to eye and he just song to me, it was so romantic, after that he looked at his watch it was almost 10:30 "are you ready to go shawty" "Yeah I am" I said smiling we went and gathered our things, he left a $100 on the table to cover our food and tip and we left. I thought we were headed home but he went another way. He stopped at a store && came back out with some bread outta all things, we kept driving, I just laid my head back on the seat enjoying the ride almost drifting off to sleep remembering that I had been up since 6:30 that morning when I felt him park the truck, I sat my head up && we were at the park. He went to the trunk and slammed it back then came around && helped me out the truck, "omg this park is so amazing at night" I said admiring the water glistening in the lights. He grabbed my hand && started leading me towards the water, I noticed he had a basket in his hand. He pulled out a blanket && laid it on the ground then some wine, strawberries, whipped cream, chocolates, && caramel. He also took out a small candle && lit it. We sat down on the blanket && started talking && feeding each other strawberries mixed with different types of condiments, my favorite was the strawberries && Carmel, his was the strawberries && chocolate with whipped cream on them. After that he pulled me into him && we just sat there && talked some more, his story is amazing, I was so shocked to hear all that he had gone through in just 22yrs of his life. I had gained so much more respect from him! I told him about myself && my upbringing && we just laughed, two completely different backgrounds yet they both led us to the A, I told him about how I started stripping && for the first time I wasn't embarrassed to talk to him about it. "Mmm, Jadore, you smell so good" he said, resting his head in the nape of my neck. "Thank you Aug" After that we got up && put the remainder of the stuff back in the basket. He grabbed the bread and said "come on shawty, I always wanted to do this shit lol" "lol, okay" I took off my heels && held them since we were walking closer to the lake, we got some bread out && fed the ducks it was really fun, by the time we made it back to the car it was close to 3, "Omg, August, that was sooo much fun! Thank you so much for everything!" I said hugging him before buckling up. "Anything for you mah" after that I smiled at him && laid my head back, when I woke up I was lying in my bed with a note && a check beside my phone
"Glad your girls were home, didn't want to wake you up, I'll see you today @ 1:00 goodnight beautiful"

I looked at the check that was written out to me for 10k I blinked my eyes && looked again, omg, this guy is something else I smiled put the note && check in my dresser, I looked at my clothes && noticed I had on my favorite pjs so I knew India put them on for me cause Truth hates these, dang was I really that tired lol. I set my alarm for 11:00 && went back to sleep for about two more hrs. Last night was a night to remember. ❤

I have to break the chp up into three parts cause this chapter is already long enough off just the first date!

Ya'll I struggled through their first date so hard when it came to the food cause just like Jadore, I do not eat seafood lol, I can't even tell you the different types of sea food there are aside from Tilapia, shrimp, && crab legs, && just last night I found out there are different types of crab legs lol!

I wanted to update today because it marks the 4yr anniversary of Mel's death(August oldest brother for those of y'all that don't know)

How was the date, really sweet for a thug huh lol!
