"I'm, I'm what?" "You're pregnant." Joe said with a sigh. "You're about a month and a half along." Lee could feel the world crumble under her at that moment. She was 14 years old. "I told you that I would handle it and honestly, I don't know what I was gonna do. Lee, I just... UGH!" Joe said walking out of the room. 

Lee's vision became misty.How the hell could this happen? Why did it have to be her? She had read about this stuff online but never in her life did she think that it would happen to her. She was taken away in her thoughts and wasn't aware of the fact that there were tears falling down her cheeks as if her eyes were a waterfall. She was snapped out of her thoughts by a small hand whipping her cheek. She had completely forgotten about Hannah Rose. 

"No sissy. Stop crying ," her little sister said, "Because if you keep crying then I'll start crying and then before we know it, everyone will be crying and it'll just be a sad mess. Do you want that Lee?" Lee laughed, "You are so mature for your age." "I know." Hannah started talking about how she always wanted to be an aunt and how happy she is that she'll get to be one. "You are truly the best Hannah." Lee said kissing her sister on the head. "Thanks bud!" Hannah said.

Lee grabbed her phone and called Noah. "Guess where I am." "You are at the Los Angeles Regional Hospital. We have 5 minutes away. What room are you in?" "Are you stalking me?" "Yes. I find you on the Snap Map every hour to make sure you are in a safe location. But that is what any sane friend would do." "I'm in room 394. And what did you mean by we?" "Gotta go bye." "Noaaaaah!" Lee heard the dial tone and she groaned. 

Joe walked back inside and sat down."So nice of you to join us little miss diva." Lee said. She looked over with a smile on her face and saw that he did not share her feelings about that comment. "Dude, chill. I"m the one knocked up and you look positively pissed." "Lee, you aren't taking this seriously. You're 14 and pregnant. 14! You can't even take drivers ed yet! This isn't some kind of joke. Chaz raped you and now you are pregnant with that mother fucker's child." "I'm not taking this seriously? Well sorry I'm not reacting like you are. This isn't happening to you Joe! This is happening to me. You have no right to be acting like you are. And I know exactly what you were gonna do." "Hannah go outside." "But I wan-" "Now!" Joe yelled at Hannah. She quickly got up and ran outside, the sound of sniffles following her.

"Why the fuck did you do that? She has done nothing wrong to you Joe. Just because your being an asshole doesn't mean you can take it out on her." "What was I gonna do Lee? Tell me. Right now." "You were gonna get it aborted. And you were never gonna tell me. You were gonna kill my child before I had any say so." "Fine what if I was gonna do that? What could you have done?" "It's my body Joe. How could you even think of doing doing something like that and just not telling me." "Lee, I didn't think that-" "Get out. Get the fuck out before I do something we both regret." Joe stormed out and as the door shut, Lee broke down.

Not even a minute later, Noah and Finn came in. The 2 boys were immediately next to Lee once they heard a sob. "What's the matter Lee?" Finn said, his voice full of concern. Lee tried to say something but it wouldn't come out. "We saw Joe come out really pissed and take Hannah Rose." Lee tried to speak again but still, no words. "Take as much time as you need."Finn said.

Lee cried for a little while longer. She grabbed a hold of Finn's hand as Noah hugged her. "I'm p-p-pregnant-t-t." Lee said still crying. Both boys jaw;'s dropped. "I am gonna grind that Chaz into a dust." Noah said. "No! We aren't gonna do anything to Chaz." "If you don't mind me asking," Finn said, "Even though it's really early on, what are you gonna do?" Lee scoffed, "I'm gonna keep it. I don't care that I'm 14. I'll be 15 before he,she, or they come. But I always told myself that no matter what happened, I would never get an abortion. That's why Joe stormed out, because he was gonna have me get an abortion with out me knowing and just never tell me that it happened." "Wow, that is some deep shit. Thanks for telling us Lee." Finn said sitting down on the edge of Lee's hospital bed.

The 3 teens sat ans talked for hours on end. They boys asked Lee questions like "What if it's a boy, what are you gonna name him?" "If it's a girl, what will you name her?" But one question stuck with Lee no matter how she tied to shake it, "Are you gonna tell Chaz?" It was all she could think of until she fell asleep next to Finn.
