Landry's POV
I walked down the hall of the set for Best Friends Whenever. I was caught up in my own thoughts.
I do NOT deserve to be here! I'm not that talented. I mean look at all the other actors!
I was chewing on the eraser of my pencil when I bumped right into a boy, who was walking towards me. I dropped my things. The boy scrambled and helped me gather my things. As he was handing me a notebook he said
"Oh, sorry about that!" He smiled warmly at me
"It's fine." I said, laughing awkwardly.
"Uhh- I'm Ricky." He stuttered a bit but he managed to spit it out
I laughed slightly "What? Never seen a girl as beautiful as me?" I joked and smiled "I'm Landry, I'm not that beautiful. Just a joke" I winked slightly
"I Uh" He stuttered yet again. "No! What are you talking about?! You're really beautiful! I mean!" Ricky blushed
"Hah!" I laughed and blushed as well "Do I have you tongue tied?"
"No!" He said, laughing. "I just- never mind. But anyways, what are you doing here?" He asked me
"Oh, I play Cyd. Y'know. Just- doing my job!" I laughed at my own, terrible, joke.
I turned around and thought to myself
Pull yourself together man! Doing your job? What kind of stupid joke is that?!
I turned back to Ricky
All he did was laugh and say "Oh, cool, well I play Naldo. Also, doing my job!" He grinned from ear to ear, seeming amused by my embarrassing actions.
"Hah! Well I'll see you on set then, Naldo!" I laughed and spun on my heel, quickly walking toward the set.
Why did you call him Naldo?! Why why why?!
I walked over to Lauren and started rehearsing my lines with her. What if he thinks I'm crazy? What do I doooo?!
