Love was in the air . As everyone gave each other roses and cards . Red hearts were everywhere. It was February 14,  valentine's day .I was the only one in my school who didn't care about  valentine's day. I mean don't get me wrong I love valentine's day. I just don't understand why people take one day of  the year to show their love.

I think every  365  days for the year should be valentine's day. I didn't feel like going to the  valentine's day party at my school. It was a couples party sense I didn't have a boyfriend I thought I shouldn't go. My two best finds Lily and Sandy were going with their boyfriends. 

"Lydia hold on!! "    I stopped quickly and look back .   I gazed back try to find out who that was.  I saw someone  on skateboard  rushing  toward  me,  then I knew it was Lily because she always had a skateboard.  "Hey I heard you weren't  coming to the party"    "Yeah"   "You have to come I heard Dylan was going to be there" 

She smiled big and looked at me. "So what?"   "Hello your crush is there  maybe he is there single "  "No way I'm not going "  I shook my head ." Fine fine I'm gonna  get going don't want to be late "  "Have fun "  she rushed off .  Lily was always the one who pushed me to do stuff . Let me tell you about Lily . She had dark  long hair , Light browned eyes and always had her skateboard with her. She has the biggest smile you will ever see . Lily was always a funny and out going person .

The next day at school people were still talking about the party.  I was at my locker getting my  math books out . As the hottie Dylan Ryan walked towards me and I couldn't help but to stare. He had the perfect smile and eyes . I had to admit I had a crush on him. The thing is he already has a girl friend . Dylan Ryan was popular and rich but still treated everybody as they were equal not like the other populars.

He stands next to me. I couldn't hardly breathe. It was like I couldn't see any other but only him.  "Hey Lizzy right?"     "No its Lydia"   "Oh yeah"   he didn't even know my name, what a jerk. I know his name but he doesn't know mine.   "I didn't see at the party"   " Yeah well I didn't  feel good".  He looked at me funny.  "Well okay hope you get better"   "Yea me to thanks" .   "Your welcome" . I heard Ashley calling his name "Dylan over here". What a slut she slept with over 500 the male population well I guess its her status that helps her get  Dylan.

He closes his locker and left.  I didn't why he likes Ashley . She was a two time back stabbing bitch. So what  if she was popular its not she really likes him.  She had shiny blond hair , ugly gray eyes and she had a tattoo on her hand .  She had designer bag and cool clothes to wear.  Her dad was a business man  and has two big stores so I guess they were rich. I never liked her and she never liked me too.

 The  bell  ring I  left for class .  It was Mr. Woods class  he was nice . No one actually paid attention in his class really. I sat next to Sandy. Me and Sandy were really good at math. "Sit down  sit down "  everyone pushed , shoved and sat down .  " Most of you failed your quiz "  he said in a serious voice. I  never saw him serious or mad. "Only two people passed "  Please don't say my name please don't say my name "  I always hate it when a teacher called me out for doing good I didn't want to be the geek and also I didn't want Dylan to think I am a geek .  He stood up and passed the paper around . " And the two who passed is Lydia and Sandy"   

I looked down so people wouldn't see me . " Of course those two freaks would pass anything if you give them "   Ashely and her bitchy ass self always had a comment .  Everyone laughed , I turned back and saw Dylan laughing too . I guess I was wrong he is just like them. Sandy didn't care much but I did I don't know why but I just did .I don't get why Ashely thinks she's all that, just because she's popular doesn't mean she's shit  . Well I guess that's why I hated her.
