Alex and Amelia have arrived in the city. Amelia stood amazed wondering why her mother kept her away from a beautiful place like this. While they walked through the city Alex realized that people were staring at them more do at Amelia. Alex grabbed Amelia's hand and they raced to the nearest clothing store. It's not as if Amelia was naked or anything it is just what's she's wearing.

“Wow this is the most clothes I've even seen” Amelia said.

“Well you could choose whatever you want” Alex told her. “But I don't have any money.”

“Don't worry about the money I'll just tell them to put it on my mother's Mastercard.”

“Your mother has a Mastercard? Well thanks for the offer but I'd rather keep my clothes” Amelia denied kindly.

“Amelia please, this is my gift to you” begged Alex.

“Okay fine only because I think the clothes looks awesome.” Amelia took a set of clothes off the rack and went into the changing room. Alex waited impatiently outside the changing room. Amelia finally came out of the changing room and she was a sight to behold.

Amelia had changed into a baby blue crop hoodie, black and white joggers and was wearing white Adidas shoes. Alex watched Amelia awed by her beauty. Alex was so amazed that his mouth was opened so wide that it looked like a sledgehammer was dropped in his mouth.

“Alex! Alex! Earth to Alex!” Amelia shouted while snapping her fingers.

“What?” Alex asked as his mind came back to Earth.

“What were you staring at?” asked Amelia naively.

“Oh…. nothing. You just look different.” Amelia has long straight brown hair, a straight nose, simple lips and light brown eyes.

Alex and Amelia went to the cashier, charged the clothes to his mother's Mastercard and left the store.

“Where to now?” Amelia asked. “Well it's getting late and by the time we get to the forest it would be nightfall. I guess the best thing to do is let out stay with me until tomorrow’’ suggested Alex.

“If it's okay with your parents, sure I'll come but I have to return home tomorrow, okay?”

Alex called a cab to pick them up. The ride to Alex's house seemed extremely long a they sat there in silence. Finally they arrived at Alex's house,it was a mansion compared to the cottage Amelia lived in. Even though it was dark out you could see the …………. Painted brightly on the walls.

“Is this your house?!”  "Technically my mother and I alone live here in the house, my father is always away on business trips.”

Alex opened the door with his key not knowing what was waiting for him on the other side.

“Alex where have you been!?” asked his mother. “Um...out with my new friend” replied Alex.

“You had me worried sick about what could have happened to my baby boy.” Alex blushed in embarrassment. “Mother, this is my new friend Amelia.” Alex stepped aside so that his mother could see her. “Oh, nice to meet you Amelia.”

“Mother can she stay here for the night? I'll explain later.”

“Hmm…okay sure just make sure that you explain every little detail to me later okay?”

“Sure Mom.” Alex felt a little nervous for this was the first time that a girl was staying over at his house. He showed Amelia the room she'd be staying in for the night.

He went downstairs and told his mother everything, she understood and she told him that she could stay for as long as she needs to Alex thanked her and went to bed.

Meanwhile, Amelia was putting away the clothes she bought earlier today. After putting away the clothes she went by the window and looked out.

“This view is wonderful" Amelia said thinking aloud. She walked over to the bed then she layed down, thinking aloud still.

“He said that I am his friend, hmm friend that sounds nice to really have a friend…” she yawned then fell asleep.

It's morning in the city and Amelia who was still sleeping a the time was awaken by the smell of breakfast. She checked the time on the clock next to her. “Oh my gosh! I met have overslept." Amelia quickly brushed her teeth and hair and changed from her PJ’S into something more fitting to go downstairs.

“Good morning, seems like you had an enjoyable nights rest” noted Alex's mother.

“Yes, your bed and pillows are really soft and fluffy” Amelia said. "Do you mind if I help you with the breakfast?"

“No you don't have too you're a guest in our home and breakfast is already finished” replied Alex's mother kindly. Alex came downstairs.

“Good morning" he said as he walked towards the front door, he went outside liked up the newspaper an gave it to his mother then sat down for breakfast.

“What's for breakfast mom?”

“Pancakes, toast, bacon, eggs, cheese, orange juice and coffee.”

“Wow! Is this all for breakfast?” asked Amelia. “Well of course! This is the normal everyday spread in the mornings” replied Alex's mother.

They sat down to eat breakfast. “So Amelia, um… this is awfully awkward” said Alex.

“Yup totally” agreed Amelia. Amelia began to eat the bacon was crisp and delicious. “Mmm this is great. What is it made from?”

“It's made from Turkey, it is a type of bird” explained Alex. They finished eating breakfast in silence. Amelia offered to help clear the table and Alex decided to help her as they walked into the he asked.

“So you ready to go back after we wash dishes?” “Yeah sure I need to go back before mother notices that I'm gone.”

“Goodbye” she called through the door. When they reached the cottage Amelia quickly climbed the tree and went inside just then Amelia's mother said.

“Amelia you're ungrounded so there's food in the kitchen. I'm going out into the other side of the city so I won't be back for a few days.”

“Okay, have a great journey!” Amelia shouted from her bedroom.

“Hey! Hey Alex Wait up. I'm coming back with back you my mother is going to a different part of the city” Amelia explained assume climbed down the tree.

They arrived back at Alex's house. “Alex did your friend get back…. Oh I see you decided to come back. How long do you plan on staying because school resumes tomorrow” explained Alex's mother.

"Oh, I just thought that Alex was you know um.. home schooled"

"Well I could get you enrolled into Alex's school.” “But how?”

“I could just say that I'm your mother's friend and she left you in my care” said Alex's  mother.
