I had lost track of time but everyone was shifting in their seats, something about the good weather and the warmer season which I suppose it was Spring.I didn't get what the big deal was so I had to ask Jesy.

"We are given some time out in Spring and Summer. They have a garden near by."She explained while chewing on a bubblegum.I said no more but turned around and left, getting hyped about it.

"Well don't get too excited about it though,we need to work in that bloody garden sometimes."Leigh hissed and pulled my hair a bit making me whine in pain. She was braiding my hair out of boredom and because I really needed to wash it but I couldn't get permission.

"Oh damn it."I sighed."Do you know what?I actually have nothing against that.My grandpa and I used to garden together when I was little."I smiled at the memory of my grandpa. He was the best man I had ever seen but sadly he had to leave me sooner than I had thought.

"You don't talk too much about your family."She pointed out.

"Yeah well for a few months I was extremely mad at them for getting me locked up in here but now I am starting to miss them a lot. What about your family? You're pretty quiet too."

"They are very nice.I miss them every single day but it's best for everyone if I stay in here.Plus they headed to Jamaica a few months ago and they keep coming back to see me."She gave me a wide smile and announced me that my hair was done. She held up a mirror so I could see the masterpiece. Her braiding skills really left me in awe.

"Aw thanks Lee Lee.They're stunning."I hugged her tight.

When she pulled back she held her finger up"Oh yeah,Perrie passed by and waved at me.She actually seems very nice, good catch Thirlwall."Leigh gave me a smirk and my mouth dropped.

"Shut up Pincock.Oops I meant Pinnock."She received a devilish grin from me before I left for good.

I headed to Perrie's room and the sight of her door wide open cheered me up.I peeked in and noticed the blonde making her bed,she had a few books scattered over the floor. She was really focused on what she was doing that she hadn't noticed me until I cleared my throat and tickled her slightly.

"Stop."She giggled and pulled away.I was laughing too hard that I couldn't see her grabbing a pillow and then she hit me hard with it.I collapsed to the floor right after I lost my balance and now she was the one laughing slightly.

"Not funny though."I tried to sound serious as I got up and cleaned myself, shaking off the dust.

"Very funny, actually."She held her finger up and smiled.I was proud of her progress, she had started to form longer sentences and her voice was starting to become more stable, not cracking up every now and then. But she didn't want to show it to anyone else other than me.

"Leigh told me that you two sort of interacted."

She smiled and nodded"Mhm."

I was glad that she was starting to acknowledge the others too.I had spent some time telling her about my friends and she seemed to be intrigued. She didn't know but I was planning on introducing her to the squad soon.

"Girls,we're going out."Jesy announced happily from the door frame, making Perrie and I turn around. She left as I grabbed the blonde's hand, dragging her after me.

We had to attend a short speech about what we are supposed to do outside and how we are supposed to behave in order to be let out."Piece of cake"is what I thought before seeing the field. It looked like a mess and we had to clean it all up.

I sighed and dragged my feet to the table where they had arranged tools. We all got different tasks and since mine was planting flowers I just grabbed the garden trowel.Jesy was cutting the grass with a lawn mower and I had to keep up with her and always be behind her planting so we wouldn't waste much time.Leigh-Anne was planting trees with James as Grace was watering the plants and trees behind us.

I looked around for Perrie and I could eventually spot her chopping off the bushes and giving them a decent shape.Everyone else was completing their tasks without complaining although you could read the annoyance one some faces.

After some serious hard work, and backaches,we were finally given a break.I dropped the tool and stretched out, feeling my bones and muscles relieving pressure.

"So tired."Perrie yawned sitting next to me on the ground.

I nodded and let my back fall on the grass, feeling the need to lay down a bit.She did the same.

"You're pretty skilled with those bushes."I laughed as she blushed and hid her face in the crook of my neck. She was getting nervous or embarrassed quite quickly especially when there were more people around and I found that really cute.

"Thanks."She whispered, her warm breath hitting my neck.

She pulled away and I rolled over on my left side as she rolled on her right, this way we could make eye contact.I could read the tiredness on her face but I probably looked the same.I closed my eyes for a short while so I could relax and I felt Perrie's hand pulling a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Jade?"She asked softly and carefully not to exhaust her voice too quickly. My eyes fluttered open and I nodded for her to go on."Thank you."She breathed out and bit her lip anxiously.

I raised an eyebrow questioningly and got up on my elbow"Huh?For what?"I tilted my head and watched as she rolled on her back and looked up at the sky.

"Everything.Had no friends here, lonely, sad, upset. You are-"She stopped to cough a bit and adjust her voice. We both knew that she should've stopped right there and let her voice rest but she didn't and I didn't want her to do it either.I wanted to know what she had to say."The only person to care about me."With every word her voice was going more and more quiet.

I didn't know what to say for a second,I was probably staring blankly at her."Perrie I am sure there are many people who care about you.Your family for sure does."

She shook her head and sat up,fiddling with the grass and refusing to look up at me."Dead"She finally whispered after a moment of silence.

I gasped and wished I hadn't brought it up but unexpectedly she didn't present any emotion towards the situation. She seemed emotionless yet I could feel the tension in the air so I spoke up,changing the topic."Pezz,I have to thank you too.If it wasn't for you I would be in a big mess now.You helped me with my mental illness a lot, gave me the power and made my life brand new."As I was speaking I grabbed one of Perrie's hands, catching her attention.

"Strong."She squeezed my hand and gave me a sympathetic smile.

"You too."

She shook her head and sighed at my statement, turning around."Gave up."She brought her knees to her chest and watched the sun setting.

I tapped her shoulder and took in a deep breath"We're not giving up.I've got a plan."I revealed and made her turn back around to face me."We are leaving this hell hole soon. But you will have to trust me and my friends."I explained as she became more confused than ever."Jesy,James And I came up with an escape plan.Leigh-Anne and Grace are also coming with us.Are you?"

She took a few minutes to think about it then shook her head"You go.Cover up."

I shook my head and folded my arms around my chest"You're not covering anyone up missy. You either come with us or come with us.Your choice."I smirked not giving her any other option.

"Slow down."She sighed and I went to place my hands on her shoulders and squeeze a bit.

"Are you kidding?Have you seen me running? If there is someone who might slow the team down then that's me."I laughed as she smiled too and then nodded.

"Okay.Coming."

"Woohoo!"I jumped in excitement and she laughed at my behaviour."We better start getting ready. We're leaving in a couple of days."

"Aye-aye!"
