Rosa POV
Family
It was one of the things on my mind lately since the winter storms have calmed down. I miss papa and mama very much, I hope their okay.
"Babygirl are you ok?" Zion asks as he comes up behind me in the kitchen as I looked out the window. I turn my head to the side where he rested his head on my shoulder.
"Just thinking..." Closing my eyes as Zion sways side to side gently with me in his arms.
"Thinking about what?"
"My parents... back home. I want to go see them, Zi-Zi" The swaying stops as Zion tightens his hold on me.
"No..." Opening my eyes turning around looking up at him he was um mind linking someone.
"Why not? I miss them Zion. The weather has calmed down it's a perfect opportunity to g-" Releasing me with an emotionless face.
"I said no Rosa don't ask again" stomping my cane since my leg is well you know.
"I wasn't asking Zion it was a statement that will be soon fulfilled whether you come with me or not." Limping last him he growls I put my hand up and he stops.
"Don't you dare growl at me, Zion. You put this on yourself now excuse me I am going to ask someone who will take me." Walking out of the kitchen towards one of the people who will take me.
"I can't believe we're actually doing this it's so exciting!"
"Shh Andrea keep it down before they hear us." I whispered shout as we attempt to sneak through the woods with the four wheeler bikes all wrapped up in warm clothing. We hear a furious growl from far away, and look at each other gulping.
"Um do you think we should go back?"
"No we have gotten to far now, look we're already at the lake." Andrea looks uncertain hesitating her actions.
"Look why don't I just go and you go ba-"
"Are you crazy leave you to go alone?! Leaving me to deal with an overly possessive and angry Zion. No tanks I happen to like seeing the light of day and stars at night." We chuckle and continue getting off the bikes we slowly walk across the lake holding on to each other since the lake was mostly frozen we got across more easier. I began to lead Andrea and I with the help of out huge flashlights, I see the path I took and encourage Andrea to move faster.
"ANDREA!" Just as we come to the ending of the trail, Andrea stiffens so I turn around to see two furious mates.
"Rosa come here now" Looking to him then the barn and back to Zion.
"No... I want to see t-them Zi-Zi." Andrea and her mate went to the side to talk. Andreas mate moved his hand around her neck with his thumb on her lips I turned my gaze back to Zion to see he moved closer.
"I told you no."
"And I told you no as well." We keep eye contact neither one of us backing down until Zion finally looks down.
"Zion why does it bother you so much on seeing them? It's not like I'm leaving you forever." By now Andrea them have left already. Zion doesn't say anything only looks the other way, I grab a hold of his face with the hand that isn't holding my cane.
"Zion I just want to visit them, I am not staying okay? Only for a couple of days why don't you come with me huh?" He lifts me up making me wrap my legs around his waist kind of and puts h s forehead on mines looking at my lips. Licking his own he looks into my eyes and smiles lightly as I blush.
"I love you baby girl." I freeze up and looked wide eyed at him before grinning from ear to ear leaning forward doing making an action that surprised even myself.
'I kissed him on the lips this time'
"I-I love you too Zi-Zi I promise I'm not going anywhere."
"Mmm I wouldn't have let you even if you didn't say that baby girl." I hit his chest as he chuckles kissing me again and again until spotlight was shown behind me and a voice I've been waiting to hear speaks out.
"R-Rosa!" I wiggle down and turn to see papa and momma and limp towards them crying as we embrace each other.
