She was lying on the couch of her apartment, singing to a random song on the radio when she heard a knock on her door. She got up slowly and walked to the door. Matilda raised her right eye to the peephole and couldn't believe who was there. Maddy unlocked the door and threw it open as quick as she could. Then jumped on the man at the door.
"PHIL" she yelled still hugging him,
"Hello" he whispered into her shoulder. "i missed you."
"I missed you to" she told him. They both raised their heads and looked each other straight in the eye. in that moment they were infinite. In sync they led their heads forward smashing their lips together. they were still in the hallway in front of her apartment. Nether of them cared there were sparks flying. The kiss was magical when they pulled apart Phil said the five words that changed their lives forever.
"will you be my girlfriend?"
And she whispered
"Yes"
