"Vector?What are you doing here it's the middle of the night and we have school tommorow"I yawned"It's important Tails, Cream has been captured by Shadow!"Vector wailed"WHAT!"I screamed as I tried to comprehend what Vector said"You've gotta help me save her!"Vector pleaded."Okay let's go get Sonic"I said as I started running towards Sonic's house"Wait there's no time!"Vector cried"You've gotta go now!""Weird"I thought."Okay Vector go get help for if we need it"I instructed him"I'll go find Cream!""Hopefully Cream is okay!"
(Cream's POV)flashback
Okay I'm thinking that if Tails tries to save me he'll always want to protect me and love me"I explained"Okay I get your idea but where are you gonna get "saved"?"Vector asked."Well"Shadow sighed"there is this place I know you could use"he explained."Great, where is it!?"Charmy asked"Who said I was gonna tell you where it is?"Shadow smirked"You'll tell me where it is because I'll really appreciate you"I begged, giving him my saddest puppy dog eyes. Shadow sighed as he looked at me"Fine but only for you"he huffed looking away"I'll tell you where it is
Present(somewhere in the woods)
"This is the most stupid idea I've heard in my life and I've lived for a long time"Shadow smirked into my communicator"Yeah I don't think we should follow this plan"Amy added"I couldn't care less about Tails but I care about your safety""Okay Amy, remember this is just pretend"I sighed as I lifted my head up to look out the broken window of the abandoned cottage. The furniture was torn and spread out as if it had been thrown and the floor was littered in broken glass and wood. The floor,walls and ceiling had holes everywhere and the rooms were scattered with leaves. "Shadow really out did himself with the "abandoned" part of the plan"I thought"Hey Shadow"I whispered"Thanks for letting me borrow the place"I thanked"Whatever"Shadow sighed"It wasn't like that place was important to me or anything"he added"What do you mean?"Amy asked. As the two continued to argue I saw Tails running towards the cottage, just as planned"Guys, Tails is coming"I warned"Quiet down and Shadow get ready"I replied"It's to late to turn back now"I whispered, laying limp again. Charmy and Espio had also tied me up to a chair in the cottage while Shadow was supposed to be my captor."CREAM, are you okay?!"Tails yelled through the door, pounding on it. I stayed still as I heard the door break and someone quickly "hover" towards me"CREAM, wake up!"Tails cried, shaking my shoulders. I pretended to look scared as I slowly looked up at Tails"T-Tai-ils?"I stuttered,as I started to cry"Thank goodness you're okay!"Tails happily cried, hugging me tightly."I was so worried when Vector told me what happened!"Tails breathed"I'm okay, thanks for coming for me"I smiled weakly"I'd do anything to make sure my friends are okay"he smiled"Now let's get out of here before Shadow comes"he said as he tried tugging at my ropes"He only thinks of me as a friend"I sighed"Hey Tails did you come here because I'm a friend for you or something more?"I asked Tails.Before he could answer a voice ringed through the cottage"Stop right there!".Tails turned around to see Shadow walking towards us"How could you do this to Cream?"Tails snarled, facing Shadow"I thought you were our friend"Shadow smirked"I wanted to see what your reaction would be if I stole your little girlfriend".Tails just glared at Shadow as he continued talking"I thought that if you really cared for her you would fight me for her"he snarled. I glared at Shadow"That's not a part of the plan!"I panicked"You've gone too far Shadow"Tails snapped"I'll do whatever to keep Cream safe!"he snarled as he walked up to Shadow"Tails STOP!"I screamed not wanting him to get hurt, for real"Please"Shadow smirked"You couldn't possibly-"As Shadow was talking Tails punched him in the face knocking him down. Me and Shadow looked equally shocked"Did Tails really just punch Shadow!?"I gasped."I don't wanna hurt you but if you don't leave I won't hesitate"Tails snarled as he got into a fighting position.
Shadow glared fiercely at Tails and was about to attack when he looked at me"Don't"I snarled,to low for Tails to hear but loud enough so that Shadow could hear me in the communicator."You'll regret this,fox!"Shadow snarled"Chaos Control!"Shadow shouted,as he pulled out a chaos emerald and teleported away. Tails turned back to me"Let's get out of here"he sighed as he untied my knots"Tails really does care about me"I blushed as he set me free."Thanks again Tails"I smiled as we walked out of the cottage"No problem Cream, I'm just glad your safe and I'd do anything to protect you"Tails said as he flashed me a smile."Anyways how did you get captured?"he asked"I don't want to talk about it"I lied."Okay"he shrugged"if it makes you uncomfortable I won't pry".We walked through the forest in silence, looking at the trees as we passed them."Hey Tails,you didn't answer my question"I reminded him."What question?"he asked"Well I asked you if you rescued me cause I'm your friend or I'm more to you"I blushed. Tails stopped and grabbed my shoulders"Cream you really are important to me"Tails said. I felt my heart race as Tails looked at me with his sparkling blue eyes"But-"Tails sighed"Your really just a good friend to me"Tails apologized, sympathy in his eyes. My heart shattered as I heard Tails say those words"I was right,Tails really does just see me as a friend"I sighed as I looked at Tails.Tails noticed my sigh and hugged me"Just because your my friend doesn't me I care for you less than anyone else"he sympathized"I hope we can still be great friends"he smiled,waiting for my answer"Of course we can"I smiled"As long as we're friends I'll be happy"I smiled"Even though I love you"I thought"Thanks Cream,now let's get you home"he replied as we walked on

"Goodbye Tails"I waved as I walked up to my house"Goodnight Cream and stay safe"Tails advised"See you tommorow at school"Tails waved as he walked away.I entered my house and saw that The Chaotix and Knuckles were still there with Amy tending to Shadow's wound."We heard everything"Amy sympathized"Are you okay?"she asked.I felt tears streaming down my face as I fell to the ground on my knees, hugging myself. I heard Amy walk up to me and I felt her arms wrap her arms around me."Tails is probably gonna be with Sonic now"I sniffed. Amy helped me up and walked me over to the couch"Are you really not gonna try to get revenge from that two tailed freak?"Shadow snarled"You should at least let me get revenge after what he did to me"Shadow said as he pointed to his face,which was a bit swelled up."I don't want revenge from Tails"I whispered"Then what do we do now?"Amy asked"We kill Sonic"I replied simply
