Dinner

Shibi's Pov
After a week of School i sat down at my desk reading a book on cooking.(im a really bad cook) as i heard a knock on my door. "Come in" i said.
My mom walked in with a smile on her face. "I've invited the nieghbors over for dinner!" She replied.
"Oh cool" i said remembering the guy."wait which one's?" I asked wanting  it to be the old guy next door. "The one with the kid" she said while walking out of the room."Oh no" i thought "i wonder how this is gonna turn out."

Lakros's Pov
I sat in my room when my mom walked in saying somthing about dinner. Of course i paid no attention to her and just zoned her out. "Did you hear me?"she asked."Yeah i did" i responded lying.
"Ok then the dinner at the neighbors is at 6:00. So dress nicely!"She called as she walked out of my room.
"Wait what?!"i thought. "Damn this is gonna be akward."

Shibi's Pov
It was 6:00 and i heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" i heard my mother say as she opened the front door. I sat on the couch face buried in a book trying to make no eye contact.
I peeked up to see a lady walk in, Wearing a nice black dress with daisies around the neck piece.
She was dragging her son in by the ear telling him to behave himself.
"Ow!" "What did i do to you?"He responded while rubbing his ear.
I tried sneeking up the stairs but my mom called out. "dinner won't be ready until your dad gets home so take Lakros up the stairs to your room, so you guys can get to know each other' I continued walking seeing Lakros following me. He didn't look mad this time just bored.

Lakros's Pov
We both sat in his room on the bed just being silent and avoiding eye contact when he turned to look at me and apologized. I nodded, wondering how to start a conversation. "You don't have to apologize" i said softly.
"Really?" he responded "yeah" I said. Then it just went silent again.
He started reading a book so i leaned over and started reading his book with him.
He looked at me with a red face.
"Did i anger you you?" I asked
"N-no!" "Not at all!" He responded quickly turning back to his book. I couldn't see the words anymore so i rested my chin on his shoulder. "Ha!" "Now i can see the words!" I said while continuing to read. Shibi was really hot. "Do you have a fever?" I asked feeling his forehead. It was burning! , and his cheeks were hot too!
I went down stairs and told his mom i thought he had a fever. The strange thing was when she checked he was perfectly fine. I checked his forehead again to make sure and his face turned red again! "See!" i said. My mom and his mom began to snicker and just left us there as i wondered what they were laughing about.
