friends are just friends, friends are people who support each other and share good times and memories.
friends don't kiss and hold hands, do they?
claire never planned on making out with the most gorgeous woman she ever met.
claire never planned on waking up in her bedroom, naked.
claire never planned on becoming that friend.
was claire just a friend with benefits?
"hey, lana?"
"mmm, babe?"
"is this.. a regular thing now?"
"it doesn't have to be if you don't want it to be."
claire continued to let lana use her. what could go wrong? a lot can go wrong. over time, claire could feel that ache in her chest. everytime lana touched her, her stomach fluttered. her heart jumped. claire knew deep down that lana would never want to be with her. lana didn't feel the same. their little adventures continued, but slowly lana decided to spend more time with claire. they went on dates, watched movies together, held hands. lana would often sing to claire.
one night, claire decided to tell lana how she felt.
"i think. i might be falling in love with you." , claire whispered when lana pulled her into a kiss.
the other woman stopped and looked at the younger girl.
claire closed her eyes and was prepared to get hurt. she doesn't feel the same.
but instead, she felt the other woman's hand press against her cheek.
"oh claire. i think i may be falling in love with you too."
