Chapter 1: My Goodbye

Nameless

My mother gave me name

And on my birthcirtificate it shows

But the name my mother gave me

No one seems to know

Everyday its something else

A new name they give to me

And the sad part is

None are my identity

On Monday I'm "Look at this faggot"

Tuesday I'm "He dumb as shit"

Wednesday I'm "He fuking weird"

Thursday I'm "Yo boy just quit"

On Friday I'm "Nothing" as I sit all alone

I cry and feel bad till I finally get home

My mother is there and so Is my dad

To him I "Aint Shit" when he gets high and mad

To my mother I'm "Lovely, Sweet, and Kind"

And those who cant see it are out of their mind

She says I should be proud and my name should be "shameless"

But until you pick one I'll just stay nameless.

When I came home from today school I could hear my dad screaming

I walked in and what I saw made me wish I was dreaming

Dad was hitting on mom and I couldn't believe it

She screamed turn around that way I wouldn't see it

My mom is too good for him why does she say

All that he does is hit and abuse her all day

I cant just watch this I have to do something

So I dropped my bookbag and stood in front of him

I hit him with all of the strength that I had

That waa the first time I ever hit my dad

I stood there in shock too stunned to even move

And my sudden daze is what had sealed my doom

He dragged me upstairs my head hit all thirteen

He threw me in my room and beat the shit out of me

Once he got done with me he went back to bed

And I crawled down the steps wishing that I was dead

I said Mom you dont deserve what he puts you through

And that if he hits you he'll have to hit me too.
