Growing up is a dread
With a feather in your cap it won't hurt
With copybooks bisected with  red inks
A sudden pain surfaces
Growth isn't easy

You begin to raise another part of you
It hurts cause you have your legs cribbed
No sudden leaps now
With copybooks bisected with red ink
A sudden pain surfaces

Your other part begins to rise
A feeling of euphoria envelopes you
No love lost
With pride you can stand and say   "we are one"

A sudden throb of pain
The world let go
Your other part becomes your legacy
Growing itself is a dread

A/N: my very first poetry tell me what you think 😉 xoxo
