I am fucking sick and I can't get out of the house so I might as well update. I am also re watching Attack on Titan as I'm writing this because it's an anime that basically never gets old and it still gets to me.
Enjoy!
-----------------------------------------------------------Craig's Pov :
I didn't specify the emergency I have to Kenny, though I told him he needs to get a hold of Tweek urgently. He seemed hesitant but agreed, maybe he recognised the sound desperation in my voice.
"Is he coming?" I barely even heard the small whisper coming from my bed.
"Yeah, I think so." I replied, a bit taken back at hearing his voice. He refused to speak or communicate ever since I came across him, which would be reasonable if you notice that he barely knows me and that he now has a fever. I placed my hand on his forehead to check if the fever calmed down only to find out it has become worse.
"Shit." I mumbled. We don't have any medicine for small children, Tricia stopped needing those when she turned thirteen. I guess I could give him a bit of Ibuprofen, we have some of that.
I don't have any time to think about it as my phone rings and I automatically pick it up, not even glancing at the name that appeared on my screen.
"What happened asshole?" Tweek spat, there was something going on in the background but I didn't pay any attention to that.
"Tweek, I know you don't want to talk with me but remember that kid I said looks up to you?" I shut one eye, hoping he understood what I meant without further explanation because the kid was right here next to me.
He paused for a second "Yeah?"
"How would you react if I told you I found him outside my house half an hour ago in the freezing cold, alone and catching a cold?" I figured this would be the best approach to this and I was right, in a way.
He didn't respond to this, in fact he closed the call all together. I wondered for a while if he thought I was joking or something, but would Tweek risk the chance? I don't know, I feel like I barely know him now days.
However, about fifteen minutes later, there was loud knock at my front door beneath me and I had to scramble out of bed and tumble down the stairs to prevent it from waking my parents up. I unlocked the door the door and let him in. He was wearing rubber boots and a coat but nothing else and I wouldn't be exactly shocked if he catches a cold soon too.
"Fucking hell dude, calm down. My parents are asleep upstairs and they no idea I've got a sick, random kid in my bedroom." I whispered/yelled, glancing behind me to make sure no one is up yet.
He nodded but didn't respond to my small rant "Where's Alex?"
A figurative light bulb lit up in my mind, so that's his name. Good to know "I just said it, in my bedroom."
He ignored my hasty remark and stomped up the stairs silently but obviously hurriedly. I followed closely behind him and walked past my parents and Tricia's door and into my bedroom, where 'Alex' has temporarily closed his eyes.
Tweek kneeled down by my bed and looked at him before turning his head to me "What happened?"
I shrugged "I don't know a whole lot more than you do. I found the kid alone in the snow a half an hour ago and I brought him in."
He forced a smile "Would you look at that, you found something you acre about. Surely, that's an achievement." He teased, before turning his attention back to Alex. My face basically turned red in embarrassment.
"I'm not an animal, I'm not gonna leave a kid outside in the snow!" I protested but he didn't listen, instead he felt Alex's forehead.
"He's alseep." I pointed out and immediately regretted it because it was pretty fucking obvious he was.
"No shit Sherlock." He rolled his eyes "Do you have anything that can stop the fever?"
"Only Ibuprofen." I stated " I'm gonna go get it."
Tweek's Pov :
The conversation from earlier at the party between me and Craig seems to have been put on hold as our main problem at the moment was to find out what happened to Alex. After about two minutes Craig comes back in the room with a box of children's ibuprofen.
"I didn't know if we had any left." He sighed as he tossed the box to me and I , with years of training, instantly caught it in my right hand and opened it.
Craig sat at the end of the bed , his back facing the door which he left wide open, revealing the dark, small hallway. Sitting myself next to Alex, I leaned into the wall behind me.
"Wake him up, let him take his medicine and then you can ask him what happened." Craig begun as a door in the hallway behind him creaked open and shadow emerged from the room. The shadow tried sneaking down the stairs and I was about to day something but Craig stated speaking again "I think he would be willing to talk more with you her-Clyde get your ass here this instant."
I raised a brow as I heard Clyde's familiar voice and small 'Oh man' from from the shadow. He walked feebly into the room and I realised it is Clyde.
Craig, who didn't actually turned around to face him, continued speaking "Would you care to explain why you are in Tricia's bedroom at-" he paused and checked the clock on his wall above me " four in the morning?"
I started snickering a bit because Craig just went from completely nonchalant to interrogative in just a matter of moments.
"And would you two care to explain why you have a small boy unconcious on your bed?" Clyde shot back but he dropped himself on the chair near Craig's desk.
Craig stayed silent "Touché."
"I swear we were only watching anime and shit while eating ice cream since we left the party for hours and then Tricia fell asleep so I decided I must go home as well." He rush, almost panicked at the death glare Craig was giving him. ( this is literally me all day tf?)
"Alright, just so you know,we know this kid and he's sick. We're making sure he doesn't die." Craig explained, shrugging.
"I think that's a bit over the top Craig." I laughed "He's not dying."
"Well, as long as you two don't have a secret organisation for kidnapping children than I'm fine." Clyde said standing up and walking towards the door.
"Oh Clyde? One more thing." Craig called and Clyde stopped in the doorway "I catch you again in Tricia's bedroom after midnight and I will suffocate you with a pillow."
Clyde laughed nervously "Got it, I'll make sure you don't catch me in the future ."
I don't think Clyde completely understood the threat but Craig simply gave him a roll of the eyes and let him leave unharmed. Alex in the mean time, woke up and was a bit suprised to see me, I suppose.
"Mr. Tweak!" He exclaimed.
"Hey Alex, how you feeling?" I questioned.
Alex smiled "Better."
"Good." I replied, ruffling his hair which brushed off most of the dirt.
But I wonder if he really is.
