"oh god! oh god ! I can't believe it!! I got selected in the London university. I can't believe it! Am I seeing a dream? Is it a dream!If it is I don't want to wake up."Alia screamed as she pinched herself and started dancing in her room.
Alia just got an email from London university saying you are selected for higher studies in London university. Please send details and hope to see you soon. The university will start from March.
Alia mother 'sangeeta ' came running at the shouting to see her daughter dancing like crazy.
Alia sees her Mother and hugged her tightly.
"Maa I got admission in London university!!could you believe it.It was my dream to get admission in London university. I am so happy maa "alia said hugging her mom with love.
"I am so happy for you beta. I knew that you will get admission in the university as I know my daughter is brilliant and no-one can say no to my daughter "Sangeeta replied with tears in her eyes.
Alia father 'Rahul'enters the room with a smile. He had listen to his daughter and wife conversation.
"Beta, you are our sunshine and our moonlight. If we ever want anything it that you always stay happy. We will love you to no end beta. We both support your decision "Rahul said with tears forming in his eyes. Alia too was having tears in her eyes. She ran to her father and hugged him tightly.
"I love you papa"
"I love you too beta"
"now no more tears.we have to start packing. Alia you are going to stay at your aunts house.We have to buys clothes,pjs and many things. Let's start.Alia ke papa(alia's father) book tickets for her. This is the first time she is going alone so make sure they are comfortable. Alia you need new phone too. So let's start"sangeeta said and Alia nodded. Rajiv took out his phone and dialed to his friend and asked him to arrange ticket for the flight to London as his daughter is going in London university.
Tickets were arranged and the flight was after 2 days. Sangeeta had to make sure that her daughter don't have any problems.Alia tell her friends that she is going to London.Her friends were sad but happy too for her.
After 2 days the packing was done. Alia was at the door with suitcases.Taxi was outside of their giant house. Sangeeta give curd to her daughter and she drank it as good luck. Sangeeta mumured prays for her daughter safety. Alia smiled at her mother. Rajiv eyes were moist with tears but was proud of his daughter.
"alia,we both love you.call us when you reach London "Rajiv said.Alia nodded.
"bye beta"Sangeeta said.
Alia bent down and touched both their feets for blessings.
"bye maa"alia said and hugged them and went inside the taxi. Bags were already inside the taxi. She waved bye to her parents.
After half an hour she reached airport.She shows her passport and ticket.She enters the plane.
She soon was in air. She close her eyes and sleep.
She jerked awake at the plane terminals. She put earphones in her ears and listen to the songs of neha Kakkar.The plane landed in which she only sleep and nothing else.
She looked around at the London airport and find her aunt who was in her thirties. Her aunt 'mary' looked at her and beamed with happiness. She hugged her tightly.
"Namastey (hello)aunty"Alia said and bent down to touched her aunt feet for her blessings.
"Namastey beta! Let's go to home"aunty said.
Mary helped her in lifting the bags and putting it inside her car.
Alia doesn't have much interest in cars so she didn't know the car's name but the car was expensive.
They soon reached to Mary home. Alia looked at the house. The house was big.A small garden in front of the house.Her uncle 'Rajesh'with his daughter 'belle's greeted her with hugs.
"hello Didi "('Didi'a respectful word to address their elder sister).belle said.
"hii belle.i missed you a lot"alia said and hugged her tightly.
"let me show you your room"belle said and Alia nodded.
Belle family sifted to London when belle was 1 year old but her parents made sure that she knew everything about her mother tongue 'India's.
Alia room was beautiful. Their was a queen size bed in between. A wardrobe.A table and chair for studying. The room was painted blue with butterflies design in corner.
"it's a beautiful room room. Thanks for doing so much for me"alia said and belle smiled.
"I owe you so tell me what do you want? "alia said.
"I dont want anything di.but I will see in future if I want anything from You or not"belle replied and Alia nodded.
Alia hugged belle tightly.
"I will call my parents now"alia said and belle nodded.
Alia called her parents and tell them she had reached London and was in her aunts house now.
"Didi why don't we go for a walk?"belle asked and Alia nodded.
They go for a walk and Alia soon discovered the place is amazing and the people are sweet.
Alia layed at her bed and soon fall in a dreamless sleep.
