Chapter 1

BEEP!!! BEEP!!!

I groaned as I turned off my alarm.i slowly dragged myself out of bed and get ready. One I got ready and ate breakfast I headed out to work. After a five minute walk I finally arrived at the cafe on time.I start my shift and it's very busy today. Monday is always the busiest day here. My day was good but I felt a strong gaze on my the whole of my shift. I look in the furthest corner to see a man with a black hoodie on looking my way. The hood was down so I couldn't see his face but I knew he could see me.

Time skip (end of shift)...
Finally I can go home. The guy from earlier left thank god. As I walk home o still feel a strong gaze on me I look back to see the man in the black hoodie walking slowly behind me. "Excuse me...who are you?"
He looked up and I saw a mask... a black mask. I turn around and run as fast as I can but he caught up with me. They  whispered in my ear "watch your self sweetheart" and ran the other direction. I quickly ran home and slammed my front door and locked it. "Mum?...dad?...hello?" I go to the kitchen to see a note with money on it. It says
"Hello darling,
Me and your father are off to your grandmothers as she is very sick. I'm sorry we couldn't take you home with us. Look after yourself sweetie,love you
Mother and father xxx"

It didn't look like my parents writing though  I thought they must have been in a rush.Shit I thought. I sit down on the couch and cry my eyes out. I couldn't believe they left me here...on my own for god knows how long. I finally stopped crying and put on the tv. I got bored so I played on my phone and had the tv as background noise. Suddenly something caught my attention..."boy found in **** park dead. There is no evidence to suggest who did this" omg!!! Could this have been the hooded guy???no that's insane i don't even know him to think that. He was just some weird guy drinking coffee, right? I brushed it off...well tried to. I went upstairs to my room and put on a big top and shorts and fell asleep.

my sleep was destrupted by a loud bannging from outside my room door.slowly I get up and walk over to the door. I open it just a crack to find something I didn't want to see. A man with a mask on ,covers in blood with my parents lying there dead under him...

Suddenly he spoke "I see you" he whispers creepy. For what felt like hours but was only a few minutes we stood staring at each other until I ran back into my room and shut my door locking it in the process. I grabbed my phone to call someone but by that time he burst through my door into my room. I screamed as loud as I could and walked back as he walked forward.

" I found you, don't be scared I won't hurt you love"

By now I was crying my eyes out. My back hit my balcony door. Slowly I opened the door and ran out jumping over the balcony. It's not too far down I guess....

I jumped putting all my power into getting myself over the railing. A rush of adrenaline hit me then black...
