When Frank woke up in the morning he was surprised to notice that he woke up before his alarm; but after a quick glance outside the windows, he noticed he could see the rays shining through the thin fabric of his pale green curtains. He sat up with a start, realizing that he had slept through his alarm but after looking at his phone, he realized that his phone had died from lack of being charged the previous night.  Checking the time on his alarm clock on his bedside dresser, which he probably should have used instead of his phone alarm, the time read 8:30am. He quickly got dressed, at one point trying to put his left shoe on his right foot which didn't end well obviously. He tripped down the stairs, cursing as his head collided with the wall in front of the steps and left a small dent that his parents most likely wouldn't notice, but if they did Frank's afternoon was going to be Hell. Opening the front door, he made sure to lock it; he didn't want any unwanted visitors like yesterday. Part of him trembled as he remembered the shattering screams of the girl, how they pierced his ears before they were cut off with the blade of a knife to her throat. His shaking hands almost dropped his house keys, but he shoved them into his hoodie pocket and practically ran to school. It's not like he enjoyed going to school, but if he was late to Mr. Swooney's class one more time then he was most likely to get a detention for 'Not focusing on his education'.

He wanted to fling himself down the steps again as he raced into the school and heard the bell for the beginning of his second period, slowing his pace to normal speed since it was no use. As he walked into Swooney's class, he could feel his teachers eyes staring into his back. He could hear a disapproving 'tut' coming from the teacher and he looked up, staring at the yellow slip that read DETENTION in large letters at the top. It read that he was to report to detention on Monday, since today was Friday he'd at least have two days until then. Frank collected it from him, getting his stuff out and trying to focus on his Geometry work. His mind wandered to his encounter with Gerard the day prior, though he wish it had been on better terms; his heart gave a small flutter as he thought back to their kiss. It didn't count though, he told himself. Gerard was drunk and in emotional pain, he was just using Frank to distract himself from the problem that was his cheating boyfriend.

Someone tapped on his shoulder and he turned his upper body in his desk to see Mikey, Gerard's younger brother. Frank looked at him surprised, not knowing he had the same class as him. "H-hey, I didn't realize we shared the same 2nd Period," Frank whispered, so the teacher wouldn't hear them talking and give Frank another detention.

"Yeah, I don't usually talk," Mikey whispered back, eyeing the teacher to make sure he wasn't looking at the pair talking, "Did you bring Gerard home yesterday?" he asked.

"Yeah," Frank nodded, knowing he was probably blushing at least a little as he remembered the events that happened on the couch, "He was a mess, I didn't want to leave him alone in the park like that..," he said, not wanting to mention the fact that Gerard was drunk.

"Thanks, if you hadn't then I probably would have been up until One A.M. looking for his ass," he thanked him, "Though it wasn't much better listening to him rant about Bert and how it was his fault," he frowned, now looking down at his hands and picking at his nails. He glanced up back at Frank and gave him a small sheepish smile, "Um, do you wanna come over to my house tonight?" he asked, "We can play video games and watch movies, Ray'll be there; him and Gerard aren't really on good terms right now but he'll probably be locked up inside of his room moping over Bert," he said, "that or Bert will be there trying to get into his pants,"

"Are you sure that Ray should be there?" Frank asked, questioning Mikey's loyalty with Gerard since he was still willing to hang out with Ray after Ray had helped Bert cheat on the red head. He glanced around the room, making sure no one was listening in on their conversation, specifically the teacher.
