Chapter 27 - The Murder Investigation
Jughead stopped the strawberry blonde on her way to class. "Hey, Mace.." she looked up at him, awaiting for the sentence to continue. "Um, just wanted to talk about what Archie brought up. Maybe talking it through would help us."
"What do you want to talk about?" She asked.
"Getting past all of this stuff... that way we can get back together. I already told you I was wrong, and apologized for everything that I said before. Last night, I really crossed the line." He repeated all of his apologies to the girl and she sighed.

"Nothing. What'd you say?" He pointed. She shrugged and strolled around him toward her class. "Mace, you've been talking about me behind my back?" He called out to her.
"Sorry, I've got to get to class, Jones!" She replied.

"There's no misunderstanding here." FP interrupted, quickly quieting his son before he escalated the talk. "Tall Boy said you paid him to decapitate the Pickens statue."
"As an excuse to turn up the heat on the Serpents." Jughead added with his usual undertone of attitude.
"You've got a lot of nervous people scared they're gonna lose their home." FP pointed.
