J'ohn continues screaming in pain as the Imperium continues shocking him from inside him.
Superman: Let go of him, you filthy--(Struggling to get free)
Imperium: Yield to us, J'ohn J'onzz.
J'ohn: Never!
Imperium: Why do you resist? Embrace this truth. After all these years, you have finally lost.
J'ohn: Have I?
Imperium: You're hiding something, a secret deep in the recesses of your mind. Is this another of your martian tricks?
J'ohn: Do I sense fear?
Imperium: What are you hiding?
He continues shocking him. J'ohn groans in pain, but then, he changes back into his other form.
J'ohn: Now!
Then, an explosion erupts from behind the prisoners. Everyone looks, and sees smoke coming out from inside the pillar, where the crystal is in. The smoke clears away to reveal two men. Two men they all know.
Flash: Batman?!
Hinata: (Happily) Naruto-Kun!
Diana: It can't be.
Naruto: (Laughs) You can't keep a good ranger or hero down.
J'ohn: I mentally shielded them so they couldn't be detected.
Batman then puts some kind of device in the pillar and on the crystal. The black lines on the crystal turn blue, before the whole thing turns blue, including the red liquid inside turns blue and spreads.
Invader: What have you done?!
Batman: Reversed the ion charge.
Above them, all the red orbs going up the pillar begin to turn from red to blue.
Imperium: The crystal, destroy it!
They all take out their blasters and blast at the crystal. Naruto jumps out of the way while Batman fires his Batline and pulls himself out of the line of fire. The shots impact on the crystal, but no avail as the crystal remains intact.
Invader: It's shielded!
The red orbs going up throughout the factory continues turning blue. Just then, outside, the plumes of smoke coming out of the factory suddenly change into a massive pillar of blue light that shoots up into the air into the dark clouds. After a few seconds, the dark clouds begin to break apart and dissipate, allowing the blue skies above along with the rays of the sun to finally begin breaking through. It spreads out fast. Inside the factory, the rays and sunlight shine through the big hole in the ceiling that's left open for the ship. The fake Carter and Invaders see this, and panic. They all run to the shadowed corners and under the ship. One trips, and fails to get under the ship. He screams in agony as he melts away from the sunlight until nothing is left. The team now knows their weakness.
The Imperium is also burning from the sunlight as gooey bubbles being forming on top of its bulbous head before popping. J'ohn then bursts out of it, and grabs a hold of its tentacles, pulling it further into the light.
Imperium: No!
J'ohn: You live underground and shun the light. Why? Does it burn your pale, putrid skin?
The Imperium screams in great pain and agony as it continues burning from the sunlight, and bubbles keep forming on top of its head and popping. Flash, Sakura, and Thomas look away.
Flash: Ooh, that's one nasty sunburn.
Sakura: Eww...
Thomas: Gross...
