Sometimes Jefecito hates the whole class for certain reasons, like when they performed during a dance on a day called People's Anniversary Day. Where they celebrate the 'unity' of the people. And the school decided to make the whole grade levels perform through dancing some traditional and some modern and groovy sort of thing.

So they were all in the 'practice' room where the Luci-er's Fire Dancers practice their elegant and graceful dances for performances and competitions all local and international. So they practiced for an estimated number of four days. Ela was finding some enjoyment during the practices. Until the day itself came...

" Grabe ang init!! " Villanueva exclaimed, fanning herself from the blaring sun they were facing while they were prepping themselves. The teachers were arranging them back and forth to a new position from time to time. It sort of didn't help that the whole grade seven batch were being noisy and rowdy which gave the teachers a very difficult time.

But it turned out that the lower batch before them, the grade school, were performing first. Since ninety nine percent of them were old students, they were happily singing and dancing along with the performers as they felt their nostalgia return to them. While the new students stared at them, but still smiling with glee at the sight. Jefecito also saw her little sister, Julie.

They were so happy that they forgot all about the sun's heat and their anxiety about their performance until the host of the event announced it on the microphone after the nuns told the tale of St. Luci-er Academy but with a little more 'pizazz'. Jefecito, being much more confident and more calmer to perform than the others, wasn't afraid because she memorised all the moves.

" Gais good luck. " Futakawa spoke to everyone. They all nodded for a response and placed themselves on their designated positions. The music played on and Jefecito immediately noticed how uneasy they were feeling, because of the way they danced, it was terrible.

Their dancing didn't have a spark of life whatsoever and the movements felt slow. This annoyed her and then they kept on saying that we had to do our best?! Wow huh. After the performance, Jefecito was instantly in a bad mood after it because they practiced it so much and this is what they gave?!!

But her little sister and her friends congratulated their performance, well mostly only her because everyone didn't do well. Jefecito at least felt a little better about it and smiled a bit. They all headed back in the classroom to change their shirts to get freshened up after the dance and watching everyone else's.

For some strange reason the Marvellous Squad were crowded in the doorway of the dark room. Well it was no surprise to everyone since they almost always spend their leisure time hanging around outside the room and chit chatting with their old peers from grade school.

A quick story fact here in the book as to why the squad were crowding the doorway was because they had just been recently scolded by their advisor and History teacher, Mr. Jardenil. Suddenly Arina shouted around the room.

" Guys if Sir comes, we all shout 'we're sorry!' " She said to her peers. Jefecito couldn't understand a thing of what is happening right now because all she understood was Arina shouting that their teacher was here so she lazily shouted along 'we're sorry' but she also added 'for making you mad'.

Mr. Jardenil smiled at his students and some person turned on the lights. He stood in front of the class and he blabbered on about how he's forgiven them and he even shared them his family problems, which made everyone cry so Jefecito reluctantly cried along with them.

But still, Ela couldn't forget about the awful performance they made during the event.
