Dutch and his gang had moved to a new camp, Clements point.
It was a nice place in the forest, where noone could find them, also next to a river to catch fish. Dutch was fascinated by the place, Arthur and Lenny had found a few days before.
He knew Arthur since he was 20 years old. He was the first one to join him, so they had a strong bond. Dutch taught Arthur everything he knew, from hunting to robbing, since Arthur on the other hand only was about 12 years young. They were like father and son. Maybe even more than that.
Dutch trusted Arthur, and Arthur trusted Dutch. They would never betray eachother, and never leave the other one behind.
Bill, Javier, Charles, Hosea and Arthur just came back from hunting. They've made a big catch today. A bear. They all were a little bit exhausted. It wasnt easy to kill that beast. They hitched up the horses and brought their catch to pierson. He, and the others, of course were very happy to have food for the rest of the week at least.
*Dutch walks over to Arthur, laying his arm around his shoulders*
Dutch: Good catch there! That'll keep us
fed.
Arthur: Yeah.. was hard. It attacked
us first. We were looking for
deer, but all we could find was
this bear running towards us
and almost killing Bill.
Dutch: Well at least you all are back
here save.
Arthur: I guess..
Dutch: *noticing that he isnt saying
to much*
Something.. wrong?
Arthur: no... just.. tired.. I'll be in bed if
you're searching for me..
*walks off*
Dutch looked after him a bit worried, but he at last went to the others to greet them as well.
Arthur meanwhile put on some other clothes and sat down in his bed. He wanted to relax after that hunt, so he layed down and fell asleep.
Lenny and Kieran were brushing the horses. They had a good view on Arthurs wagon. Lenny had seen how he acted as Dutch welcomed him.
Lenny: hmm..
Kieran: whats wrong?
Lenny: i was just thinking.. did you see
how Arthur dodged Dutch just now?
Kieran: uh... no. why? What happened?
Lenny: well he was.. strange. I dont
know.
Kieran: Maybe because he i s strange?
Just look at what hes wearing.
Lenny: That wasnt even funny. I really
mean it. Do you think hes angry
at Dutch or anything?
Kieran: Angry? About what exactly? He's
literally the only one Dutch truly
trusts so why should he be angry
at him. Also you know him he
never is angry at the boss.
He does everything for him.
Lenny: I know he does. I know. But he's
just.. different. I dont know.
Kieran: I think you just are high of
smelling horse shit all day.
Lenny: maybe...
* micah walks towards them *
Kieran: oh no watch out..
Micah: heeey fuckers. * hitting lenny
on his shoulder sitting down *
Lenny: micah.. * annoyed *
Micah: I heard you were talking about
Morgan.
Lenny: Aint your business Micah.
