Don't Forget Me

Chapter One- Port Hudson

(LUCY'S P.O.V)

The sound of Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder was playing quietly, it was my favourite song. As I looked out the window, some light rain hit the closed window.

"Lucy, aren't you excited to be making some new friends?" my mother asked. She was way more excited than me to move to a different town, we were moving because my mom got a job offer in a small town called "Port Hudson". It was only my mom and I moving, I was an only child and my dad passed away when I was too young to remember.

"I guess so I will miss Owen and Kacy." I said quietly as I put my earphones back in. Owen and Kacy were really my only friends back in my old town, I was terrible at making friends.

It took about an hour of driving in rainy weather to get the Port Hudson. When we got there we pulled into a big house, the house number was 317. I grabbed my purse and suitcase and headed quickly inside. It was unfurnitured so my mother and I would be sleeping on air beds tonight.

"Hun, once we unpack I'm going to hit the grocery store to get some food for dinner because clearly we don't have any." my mom says as she giggled.

After looking around for a while, I found my room. It was huge, there was a walk-in closet and a balcony with a beautiful view of the beach, as I looked I noticed the rain stopped. I also saw someone walking to the house next door. It was a cute brown haired boy, I thought I would say hi so I walked outside over to him.

"Hey! I'm Lucy Allen, I live next door. We just moved in an hour ago." I said and smiled.

"Nice to meet you Lucy, my name is Liam Payne. Are you going to Hudson High? If you are we could walk together and I can show you the classes you have." Liam said softly as a cute smile appeared on his face.

"Sure, I would love that!" I said, I was kinda excited.

Liam and I talked more and more, I learned that Liam was really athletic and he was so caring. All of the sudden my phone went off, it was my mom wanting me inside for dinner.

The rest of the night was just unpacking and getting used to the new place that we have to call home. It was after 11 PM so I decided to go to bed.

My eyes opened as I saw my clock, it was 7:00 AM. It was the morning before the first day of school, I wasn't that nervous because I had Liam. I stretched and walked over to the shower, I had a long hot shower that felt great. After I put on some makeup and picked out my outfit, skinny jeans with little rips, some brown combat boots and a black high-low knitted sweater. I was starting school in October so school already started. I run downstairs and grabbed some toast as I headed out the door. I walked to the neighbors house that Liam lived at, it was around the same size of my house. My house was white and his house was brown, I walked over to Liam's house and knocked on the big hard door. A couple seconds later Liam appeared, he was wearing a plain black shirt and some khaki pants.

"Ready for school today Lucy?" Liam giggled as a huge smile appeared on his face. I nodded, "So I have Science, English, Lunch, Gym and Math, right?" I mentioned. Liam grabbed my paper and looked, "Yeah, you do. Oh look! You have every class with my friend Meaghan, you will love her, shes a great girl. I will text her now to wait outside of the front of the school for us." Liam replied.

We kept walking as we pasted this really attractive guy, his soft brown curls were flying in the wind, he had a flirty smile. "Hey Liam, who's that?" I asked, I really wanted to know.

"That's Harry Styles. Stay away from him, he is really dangerous. I don't understand why he isn't locked behind bars for what that he did." Liam mentioned.

"What happened?" I asked, I was pretty scared.

"We all know what Harry did last summer, there was this girl named Abbey. She was murdered last summer and the whole town thinks it was Harry. He was the last one who saw Abbey the day she was killed." Liam said, he sounded pretty serious. Liam went on about that night and how Harry is the biggest man-whore ever.

The loud crunch of the fresh Autumn leaves repeated as Liam and I walked slowly to school. Liam and I were pretty quiet as we walked through the cold fall breeze. Meaghan was waiting at the front of the old brown bricked school, she was wearing a grey long knit sweater dress and black leggings. Her black long hair was curled and a thick black headband was placed on the top of her head. We approached her as a small smile lit up her pale face.

"Hey guys! Excited for school!?!" Meaghan yelled out. I was not excited one bit.

"Not really but it's not that bad." I replied.

My first class was science, I walked to my class it was in room 214, I slowly opened the big brown door to see some faces already sitting down. I sat down at a desk near the back, the old metal chair squeaked as I pulled it out to sit down. When I sat down I heard a deep British voice, great Harry Styles was sitting behind me. He was a total man-whore and the most popular boy in school. He probably banged the whole cheer leading squad. Harry and his jock friends were talking but then something he said caught my attention.

"When I'm done with that bitch, it won't even existence!" giggled Harry.

What was Harry talking about? Was he really a murder. I some what believed Liam but Harry was only in high school.

"Hey Harry, we all know what you are doing tonight, if you do it once you do it again." Meaghan said, she was trying to piss of Harry.

"For the last fucking time. I did not kill Abbey." Harry yelled as he threw his chair and ran out of the class room. The teacher ran after Harry. Wow, what a great way to start the first day of school.

"Meaghan, you are going to be next." a quiet kid sitting in the back said.

"No, I'm not going to be Zayn. Don't worry I can watch myself." Meaghan said. Meaghan just got herself into a lot of shit.

The rest of the day I worried about what happened with Harry. I was crushing on him, his soft curls and beautiful eyes was all I thought about. I could ever tell Meaghan or Liam that I liked Harry tho.

I looked up to see Meaghan walking over to me, "Lucy we should walk home together!" Meaghan asked, I couldn't say no. We continued walking as I heard her phone go off.

"Aren't you going to answer that?" I said. Meaghan answered it sounded like she was making plans with someone. "...Ok Harry Bye!" Meaghan said and closed her phone. "Harry forgives so easy, we are hanging tonight haha" Meaghan said as she giggled. Oh shit, Meaghan is seeing Harry tonight, there is only two ways this could go, she could die or get pregnant.
