Chapter 1: Six Flags disaster

One nice, hot day, Sophia Spanos was going to six flags hurricane harbor with her family. Sophia had nice, curly brown hair that was short. Her sister had long hair that was light gold and brown. Their mom had dark curly hair, the color looked like black. Their brother had brown hair, it was curly but hard to tell. If her brother grew his hair long, it would probably be more curly and easier to tell he had curly hair. Their dad had greyish black hair and was not curly. The whole family had beautiful green eyes. Sophia was in middle school and her brother and sister were twins, both going into fourth grade. Sophia was going into sixth.

Today was her cousin's birthday, and her, her brother, Steven, her sister, Korina (who we call Kori), Her mom, Caryn, her dad, Dean, her grandma, her Aunt Cathy, her cousin, Kyle, and the famous birthday girl, also her cousin, Christine went to Six Flags.

Today was Christine's birthday and they were all going to six flags to celebrate. Now, Christine has never been to six flags because they live too far away to go there often. Sophia's family, on the other hand, lived pretty close. Sophia had gone on all the big and scary roller coasters. She was not scared of them, unlike her brother and sister, who were. But today they were not going on the collar coaster. 

Sophia, her mom, Kori, and Steven had only been to hurricane Harbor once. It had hair and old band-aids in the water. But they wanted to try again and just see what else they had. It was a hot day and Six Flags had a great deal today, so they decided to try hurricane harbor again.

Sophia was super excited! She couldn't wait for today. She couldn't sleep last night and woke up super early in the morning like she always does when there is an exciting day waiting the next day. Like Christmas or her birthday for example. Maybe even starting middle school! She wanted everything to happen just then! Sophia and Kori were looking out the window waiting for their family to arrive.

Sophia was very tired because she didn't get much sleep last night.

(flashback, last night) -Sophia was waiting for it to be morning. She had butterflies in her tummy. Her eyes were wide awake. It was almost midnight. She was looking up at the bottom of her sister's bed because they had a bunk bed and Sophia was on the bottom bunk. She was watching the clock and trying to fall asleep. She went to her parents 4 times that night to get advice on how to fall asleep. (It never works)

They gave her good advice, but her body was just too excited. She read the clock. Midnight. She lay there, thinking about tomorrow. And so finally, she drifted off to sleep.

(the present) Sophia yawned. Since her cousins had not come yet, maybe she could pass time and fall asleep. Before she drifted off, she looked at the time. 8:09 a.m. she kept that in mind.

Sophia was in a dream. Not a good dream though. She walked through the empty hurricane harbor. There was fog everywhere. She couldn't even see 2 feet ahead of her. It was deserted. Dark. night. Sophia didn't know what to do.

She walked through the water park. She heard a scream. A loud one. It seemed to be coming from in front of her. Or in back. Another scream. And another. Then, out of the blue, it started to pour. The screams went away.

Sophia heard someone approach her. She didn't know where. She looked with worry in her eyes. Her heart was pacing. She was glad this was a dream. Someone ran up behind her. Put a bag over her head. Then there was a gunshot. Sophia woke up. She had not had a nightmare since forever!
