Seven's P.O.V
This beautiful woman is standing in my house? Why? Suddenly, my memories from earlier today come back to me. Six, all of it. I frown, even though what I want to do is run and give her the biggest hug ever. She looks up at me with her sad eyes again.
"No.. 606 don't do that... don't be sad," My mouth says before my brain can think. I put my hand on her shoulder. No.. What am I doing? This can't happen. I can't make 606 think I'm a nice person. I quickly pull my hand off and say, "It's not like I care if you're sad, It's just annoying."
"You... You don't care about me?" Six asks with a surprised look on her face.
"No... Why would I? I already explained this Six. I don't love you," I say. I cringe and look away. What am I saying... Of course I love her? Why wouldn't I love her???
She grabs my hand. "Seven! Stop lying to me.."
I pull my hand away. "I'm not lying to you Six, I don't date people. It doesn't work with my schedule." Jesus, I sound like Jumin... I turn away so that I'm not facing her, and pretend to continue watching the show. I walk away from her and sit on my couch. If I ignore her, she will leave. I hear soft sniffles from behind me. I glance back and six is crouching holding her knees with her back against the wall. Her head is resting on her knees.
I rush over to her and gently lift her head. I hug her, and she hugs me back.
"Se..Seven... What are you doing?" She askes in between sobs.
"I'm so sorry Six. Of course I love you! I have always loved you. Even back in college, I loved you. I pretended not to notice you but I did..." I tell her, spilling my secrets.
She looks up at me and wipes her eyes, "Re..Really?"
"Of course Princess, Why would I lie to you?" I tell her before realizing my mistake in what I said, "Umm.. forget I said that..."
She laughs. "Please never lie to me again..?"
"I can't make that promise, but I can promise I will always be here for you... I might have a dangerous job, but I'll protect you.." I ramble. The next part comes out as barely a whisper, "I'll try my best to always protect you..."
She laughs a bit and hugs me again. I stand up, pulling her with me and kiss her. Afterward, she looks at me and says, "I love you Seven," And I reply, "I love you too Six!"
