Chapter 1 "Not a Wattpad Story"

Don't you understand? You can't be with me. You're the prince and future heir of the vampire kingdom. I'm nothing more than your weak little human servant. Your people will never allow you to take a human as your bride.

No! I don't care about any of that. I'd give it all up if it means being with you. Nothing can ever keep me away from you. I love you!

"UGH!" I yelled out as I put down my phone realizing how late it was. I looked over to my clock to confirm it was 4:18 am because for some reason, I thought my phone was somehow wrong. Grabbing my phone again, I closed out of Wattpad realizing that I had been reading for more than 6 hours. But it really wasn't my fault. The stories were just so good and irresistible. Especially the ones where the vampire kidnaps the girl and makes her his slave only to end up falling for her in the end. The vampire stories were my favorite.

I sat up in my bed and stretched my arms knocking my lamp over in the process. Feeling too lazy to pick it up, I left it there and got under my covers. I'll just get that in the morning. I had less than 4 hours to sleep and wasn't too thrilled about the idea. Not to mention my homework wasn't done. I shrugged it off deciding I would do them in the morning and just copy one of my friend's homework during homeroom.

I cuddled deeper into my bed as one of the stories I read played in my head. I wish a vampire could kidnap me. I know it sounds crazy. But it's obviously never going to happen because vampires aren't real right? I was the kind of girl who would kill for an adventure and Wattpad made me fantasize about a different kind of adventure.

"Ugh!" I groaned loudly as the dreadful sound of my alarm filled my room. I wanted to ignore it but knew it wasn't going to shut up. I didn't even realize I had fallen asleep. So basically, I just took a nap since I only slept for three hours.

Reluctantly getting out bed, I picked up my lamp that fell from last night and headed to my closet. "What am I going to wear today?" I questioned out loud as I walked around my closet staring my clothes down. "Even the blind could see these bags," I said when I caught a reflection of my face in one of my mirrors.

I grabbed a pair of dark grey jeans, and a white Billie Eilish T-shirt that I got from her concert last summer, but not before another yawn escaped my mouth. I am definitely falling asleep in every class today. But luckily, it's Friday! The good thing about Fridays other than it being the start of the weekend is that seniors have half days every Friday. Meaning when the clock strikes 12, I get to rush home and take a long and satisfying nap.

I pulled out my outfit, laid it on my bed and headed towards the bathroom only to be knocked over by my annoying excuse of a brother.

"Toby you dick!" I yelled after him. He slammed the door but not before I heard him let out an evil chuckle." I soon heard the shower and got up knowing that sitting on the floor wasn't going to help me. "Not to worry," I said dusting myself off. "I have a plan." I let out my own sinister laugh and made my way downstairs to one of the guest bathrooms. I turned the shower on the hottest possible and let it run. Then I turned the water on in the sink to the hottest possible and walked over to the toilet. "How's that hot shower of yours dear brother?" I whispered to myself and began flushing the toilet uncontrollably.
